Rat Race: Are you In or Out?Reply
I'd say the poll has to do a lot with lottery. Don't most people play because they're trying to get out of the rat race, hoping to hit a jackpot?

Poll: What game does "lottery" bring to mind to you?
A study was done where people were told to draw a map of the world. everyone put the country they were from as the center. I wonder if the same type of thing would apply to lotteries. We have a lot of discussions here about strategies, number selections, etc... But Pick 3 players are not thinking of multi-million dollar jackpots and jackpot game players are not thinking box, straight box, or straight. When you hear the word lottery, or come to LP and see a thread, what game first comes

I don't see how anybody could honestly vote no unless they knew for a fact LP members would never again buy a ticket in either game. Why start a poll with only one logical choice?

Gas station.....I would have easily put that as a choice if I had remembered, but I knew I'd forget so I put other. If I ever ask this poll again I will definitely include it.

POLL: Pick 3 trackers
For those who track numbers (if you have two drawings a day), do you track from Mid Day to Mid Day, Evening to Evening, Mid Day to Evening (as if it's one continous drawing), etc... Is one more successful than the other? Does it matter or not, or is it just personal choice? Does the Mid Day Tell you the Evening often enough to play it? Example, Mid dAy hits 263, that evening is either a repeat, or those numbers in a different order, such as 263 MD and 326 Eve?

Scratching at the counterReply
The corner store that I go to doesn't allow scratching at the counter and if someone does try to interrupt your transaction to get another ticket, they have to wait in line like everybody else. And at the FoodLion I go to, it's the same thing as at my corner store so If I had to do the poll, I would ask for the manager and get angry at the clerk who should know that once that scratchers tickets are bought, he has to step aside and let the next customer go.
