“Money doesn’t mean a great deal to me"
You could buy a or 30,000 thousand dollar car if it can give you like 50 miles per gallon..The car industry is sorry. All they trying to do is make money, they don't care about the welfare of drivers. Yeah they introduced the front and side airbags but that's it. Ask yourself something. Do you really care if your car has ABS and back sensors and all of crap they try to come up with?(ABS is important but to prove a point): NO, what you are more concern is MPG..How far you car can get you and How

Poll - PB & MM vs a National Lottery
Someone on one of the threads observed it would make more sense to dissolve the Multi-State Lotteries and create a single lottery run as a national, similar to the Irish and UK.
Tickets for the hypothetical National US lottery would be sold in all states, tickets available in Post Offices, National Park Service offices, National Forestry Services offices, Bureau of Indian Affairs offices and all state and local government offices supported by Federal funding and grants. That funding and th

Maryland Lottery machine glitches frustrate players
Yea to bad the gamble with schwab is ten times worse than playing the lottery. so is the return.
I'll stick with 500 to one and 5000 to one.
the only people who benefit from stocks are the brokers even if you lay down big bucks. before I'll let the brokers have my losses. i keep working the lottery.
I sent the writer of the article a strong letter about John Christopoulos (sheep remark) if he doesn't like his loyal lottery players maybe he should turn in his machine to someone who wants

The Solution t This Gas Extortion
RyanM wrote Actually, walling off the United States economy from the rest of the world will only make things more expensive overall. The world economy idea came about so countries that have comparative advantages in producing certain goods can help out the countries that don't. (end quote)
Who said anything about isolating our economy? Read and then re-read most of the comments here. My comments were for the most part, based in facts and some opinions. Which is what this topic surrounded

That's a good question, but I have seen his other tricks on wimp.com, ( or real magic I should say), and they're equally impressive.
I believe in real magic. Good majic.
Here's the Hutchinson effect: Real authentic magic, I mean scientific magic, not some bull.

Natural Diasaster Lottery
It's a good idea on paper but what happens is a dependence on such funds once they start coming in. As seen over and over again in many states, the lotto bucks for education just doesn't happen.
The technology is there, I'd like to see tickets where you choose should my dollar not win I'd like it to go towards:
Fire Dep't
Police
Libraries
Disaster Relief
Governor's lunch fund lol
etc.......

MD Lottery Retailers Are Ripping Us Off!
Maryland Lottery Retailers Are Ripping Us Off! A dollar here, three there, ten here not every customer and not every retailer is ripping Marylanders off, but many are. Here s the problem: Customer A buys $5 worth of lottery tickets, it doesn t matter what type: Pick3, Pick4, Bonus Match 5, etc, the problem is not game specific. The customer gives the lottery retailer $5 and the customer goes on his way. Customer B walks up and hands the clerk a $40 winning pick 3 ticket and $31 worth

N.C. Lottery hunts for online identity
Internet-savvy speculators have bought all the logical Web addresses for North Carolina's lottery, leaving the state in a bind as it looks for a smooth, easy way to get out information on the games.Dan Gerlach, an adviser to Gov. Mike Easley, said state officials have looked for an easy-to-remember name for the lottery's online home, but they're all gone. All the permutations we could think of, he told the lottery commissioners at their inaugural meeting this month.Charles Hayworth of Winston-
