Phycisist Brian Greene and the Lottery...
theres a thory that there are multiple universes out there where everything possilbe that can happen, has or will happen.
so im saying if that is true there is a universe, that we all win the jackpots in, infact theres a universe where every members of LP wins a jackpot. its all possible, in this theory.
all we have to do is find a way of getting to the universe we want.

Return on Investment
What you are really speaking of is the Payback Ratio of the instant games. This is the total value of all prizes divided by the total value of all tickets. This ratio varies depending on the price of the ticket and which state lottery is selling it.
Generally speaking, the higher the price of the ticket, the better the payback ratio. Of the six states I follow, it ranges from a low of about 40% on a $1 ticket to as high as 90% on a $20 ticket. This ratio also changes slightly everyday dependi

Check your own Lottery Tickets
lmaoooooooooooooooooooooooooo@ Joker, that was a cruel joke, lmaoooooooooooooooooooo.
Yeah, people should check their tickets themselves, instead of having other people do it for them, that's crazy. And, it's the people that rarely play that win the big jackpots, this is just my opinion.
Good Luck.

POLL: Best entertainment at the Institute for the Lottery Insane
Since three jackpots (1 Lotto and 2 Little Lotto) were hit in liquor stores in Illinois on Saturday night, Aug 13th, some residents are petitioning to get a liquor store here in the Institute.
One insists that no one who had bought a winning ticket at a liquor store has ever done so without taking a nip while filling out the playslip.
Another of our residents is working on playing nothing but football scores.

POLL: Best entertainment at the Institute for the Lottery Insane
A couple of our residents went off on tangents about persistence recently and have been driving themselves a little more batty than usual.
One tried doing a search here on LP using the word dream .
Another insists that picking a set of six numbers, five of them in regualr numerals and one in Roman numerals is the key to winning jackpots but is having a heck of a time trying to find such a playslip.

Lotteries hit record profits last year
The one thing I would like but don't see would be a $1.00 national game with a lot more million dollar winners instead of the humongous mega jackpots
A few years ago the Ohio Lotto game was averaging 3 jackpot winners and one drawing had I believe 14 players splitting the jackpot. A National game could produce multiple million dollar winners if they created a point where the jackpot must be paid and if there are no jackpot winners; the top prize would be distributed to the secondary prizes.

Lotto Maxims
As jackpots grow, so does the fever.
With each record jackpot that gets hit, it takes a higher threshold for the fever to kick in.
$50 million used to be big news, now, not so much.
