I am new to LOTTERY POST. One of my favorite links is PREDICTIONS . I see a lot of success from many members. Would anyone be willing to share ? Where does one arrive at their numbers ? Is there a system that I can subscibe to , or study ? I am not asking for the numbers, rather, a source to maybe increase MY chances of predicting a few winning numbers on occassion.My interest would be PICK 3/ PICK 4.... Anyone ? Thank you in advance.

Mega Millions multi-state lottery to get harder to win in Oct.Reply
It sounds like this may be a boon to the state lotto games. I guess that explains why Texas Lotto stopped the $1m minimum jackpot increase per draw and added the plus factor. I buy fewer of those tickets, as I'm sure others do, too. I'll be buying fewer MM also as I'm in it to win the JP, not the lower winnings. Any word on increased payouts for non jackpot wins? Or higher starting point?

My playing style has changed with a smaller budget
For the past year, I was spending $30 a wk playing just MM and PB. I was doing 1 draw with my own numbers for MM/PB and an extra 10 MM qp's weekly. While I've hit 3 white MM numbers several times, I've come to realize all it takes is just 1 ticket to win. It doesn't matter how many tickets you buy, that does not increase your chances of winning. Now, I just do 1 MM and PB ticket with my own numbers weekly. I've reduced my budget from $30 a wk to just $10 a wk... I'm much happier=)

I have a strong feeling that Houston, Texas has this one or, a portion of it. Something about the demographics of highly skilled and paid professionals migrating there and money coming with them. Alas, GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! And oh, the game might increase to $650 Million with string sales, who knows?

If there are 1 billion ticket sales for a drawing, then the average number of winners would be 1 billion / 175 million = around 5.7 winners as an average. He said an average of 17 winners as a function of the assumption that there would be 3 billion ticket sales, and also said that he didn't believe that was possible, just what his model predicted. I don't think your math adds up on this one. i was of the understanding that fifty cents went to the lotto and fifty cents went to the state. Even if it was sixty four cents per ticket towards the jackpot, a $300,000,000 increase would mean 468,750,000 tickets would have to be sold. I might be wrong though

I believe this is a mistake to do. I have no doubt that the MM jackpots will increase in size, but it'll take forever to get there. And since the odds of winning are even less, players will turn to other games where the probabilities are better, only bothering to try their luck at MM when the JP is large enough. In the meantime, the public will be seeing more jackpot winners from PB than MM by comparison, so that's where they'll go to try their luck.

Sorry Ronnie316 that I've confused you. Like LottoBoner and his problems with the Pope and Galileo, you're somewhat confused regarding Capitalism and Communism. According to you, apparently, Communists buy QuickPicks, and Capitalists waste their time devising lottery systems to increase their bottom line. I'm a stock market trader.
