NY Scratch-off Discussion
Well your $5 games offer $1 MM jackpots right ? Maybe get a roll of those. If I had to chose between a $20 game roll id get the Win For Life Spectacular To win $5,000 is 1 in 25,200 which is pretty decent.

New National Game - What Should It Be?
To me, it doesn't matter whether it's a 5 +1 or a 6 # game, what I'd like to see is a game that had smaller jackpots, but many millionaires. Such as, instead of having one person win a huge $300 million dollar prize, I'd like to see it where the spoils were divided into many more smaller prizes, such as one 10 million dollar winners, 3 or 4 $5 million dollar winners, numerous $2 and 3 million dollar winners, and many many more prizes in the 10's and 100's of thousands of dollars. Something a

Maryland Pick 4 for April 2011.
Hello fellow Marylanders. Im a player that plays Powerball Mega Millions for years. I play Pick for two or three times a year in patches of time like 10 days and then I stop for about 3 or 4 months. Because of all the large Jackpots this year, I havent played much of Pick 4 this year. I started playing the following patch of numbers for the last two weeks. Im hoping the money comes in today. 0418, 0469, 2398, 1703, 2059, 1491 1959, 1969

Loosing Lottery Tickets To Save Them Or Not?
Hi, I am also a new member. However, I believe the loosing tickets are for the year in which you win. The loosing tickets must be retained in the event the IRS asks for proof of this deduction when you file your tax return. Good Luck. I hope we both win huge jackpots in 2011 year!!! .

New National Game - What Should It Be?
Powers that be care about what we think ?????? Me thinks you are smoking something to go with the Jack. LOL. I think we will end up with MM and PB merging into one game with bigger jackpots, bigger odds, bigger cost to play. I don't know what I would prefer except maybe go to a game without a bonus ball. Frankly, it probably doesn't matter what configuration the game is, the odds are such that it's near impossible to win anyway they make it.

New National Game - What Should It Be?
I've read that the MSLU or a collectiion of States or some entity is working on another nearly national game, that they are trying to get the JAckpots up to half a billion with, but that the tickets, as currently planned, would cost $5 bucks. I also saw 2 bucks thrown around. Not too sure, actually I'm gonna look it up now. Honestly, I want one that won't grow so huge, but into a few million, or up to say 50 million. So something like a 5/30 and 2/26 for total odds of 1 in 4

$37M lotto winner dies heartbroken recluse
Actually, the way to solve THAT dilemma is to bring the rest of your family up with you--everyone in my Significant Other's family and my family are accounted for and know precisely what their share will be should I win a large jackpot. If we win a large enough jackpot--I even have plans for a Cousin Trust with provisions in it for his and my cousins. Just who else besides family do you have to socialize with? Do you really think the successful millionaires who have worked long and hard for thei

Texas Lottery Ball Games need better Odds
I just need to vent about this. The two big Texas Lottery ball games, Lotto Texas and the Texas Two Step suck. These games have higher odds than other states with similar games. For example, Lotto Texas is a 6/54 game while Ohio's Classic Lotto is a 6/49. So to win the big one in Texas it is 1 in 25.8 MIL and in Ohio it's 13.9 MIL. And the Texas Two Step is garbage too, it is a 4/35 plus a 1/35 Bonus Ball while Ohio's Rolling Cash 5 is a 5/39 game. So to hit the big one the Texas 2 Step is 1 in

Store wins lottery prize on mistake ticket
I'm with you Mark but you must be an Old Dog too. The younger people want the bigger jackpots cuz they have a lot of years left to wait and see if they can win. Me, I ain't got that much time. I say smaller pots, more winners.

Store wins lottery prize on mistake ticket
Will 'give away' prize Tesco Ireland, the Irish arm of supermarket group Tesco, is to give away a 500,000 (US$713,000) Euro Millions prize it won by accident on April Fool's Day. The retail giant is understood to have won the huge prize inadvertently last week. A customer had asked for a 4 quick-pick ticket but was issued with a 9 ticket by mistake. The customer was then issued a new ticket, while the 9 ticket was locked inside the cashier's register. However, the following morning t
