Texas Computerized Drawings
Quote: Originally posted by MollyG on January 31, 2005I'm aware of the information in your most recent message. With that in mind....maybe everyone from Texas will just respond to this thread with their opinion and not vote. That would suit me just fine. That way, it could be narrowed down to the Texas members, along with WHO would register today, in order to vote; whether it be For or Against. Seems more accurate with what I'm looking for, right? It doesn't sound like you read my message. Yo

Texas Computerized Drawings
MollyG,Too bad that you have decided to come out FOR computerized drawings, when you yourself said you have no preference. That is MY opinion. (USA!)One other opinion of mine is that Texas will NOT do whatever they want. They will only do whatever they want if there is more apathy on the subject, as NO PREFERENCE indicates. When everyone comes together in unison and votes AGAINST , and when lots of people get together and find every conceivable way to let the Texas Lottery and their Texas Re

Texas Computerized Drawings
ADMISSION OF CONFUSION: I don't know WHY I checked FOR, because I really don't care, one way or the other. I shoulda checked NO PREFERENCE. Maybe, and strictly Maybe, it was a sense of rebellion, because of the pressure....I don't know. That's the truth. And, it really doesn't matter, because their gonna do what they want to anyway; they've proven that. Computerized Drawings on Cash 5 start in March of this year. Think you can stop them?It may be rigged now, how do we know.

Landmark bill would ban computerized lottery drawings in Delaware
Personally I turn on the channel broadcasting the lottery game at the time of the drawing and then rerturn to the programming I was originally watching before the drawing. To say that they are only getting a 7% share of the Nielson ratings is referring to the whole half hour of programming in that time slot. Put it on a better channel, change draw times, do anything it takes to increase revenues, but the last resort is to go to closeted computerized drawings. I wouldn't play that kind of game.I

Sign the petition - eliminate computerized drawings!
LOTTOMIKE:Even I can't find the words to tell you how much LosingJeff and I appreciate your support, but you don't have to live here to take an active role. Just go to IndyStar.com and punch in Hoosier Lottery (quotes aren't necessary). Then print out the two articles you find there and send them to your local newspaper editor. Ask him to find space to run them. If he publishes the articles, it will give your own state legislators something to think about before one of them gets any ideas abou

Sign the petition - eliminate computerized drawings!
i want to do this not only for indiana but for all states because there are more people just like losingjeff in other computerized states having the same problems...i would love to put an end to this just like others do too...i look at this like a cancer and its infested the lottery in america and if we don't do something it will spread until all states end up computerized and the cancer will have killed the lottery in america as we know it as a fun game to play......i think in my opinion someon

GA Eve (23rd thru 26th)
Howdy Tarzan,That is a great question! Separate, or combined has always been debatable. When it comes to the traditional drawing style (balls, which GA has) I opt for separate. I get many more hits this way. I have tried both ways, I feel separate is better. Now, with that said, I'm not so sure that RNG (computerized drawings) shouldn't be combined. Only one computer (here in MO) doing the drawing for both mid and eve. The jury is still out on that one.I made some lists a while back that were c

which states use computerized drawings
The Kentucky Lottery uses a computer to select the draw numbers for one of its games: Tic Tac Cash. The game really doesn't interest me, so I don't play it anyway. My guess is that they're warming up to use computerized drawings on more or all of their games.I'm not sure where I stand on whether or not to play computerized games. I think I'd have to watch and play for a while to see if there were any material difference in my success or failure. Off hand, I suspect that the computer draws are no

Lottery petition attacks computerized drawings
Tood = I havnt read the petition so my thinking of inside job came naturally as I didnt see any reason that a Lottery Commision would/should have their computer hooked up in such a way that it could be hacked from outside sources. One would think that such people would consider the possibilities of such if the computer wasnt isolated and take precautions to prdvent such occurences which I feel is a very reasonable assumption.I believe I did say that I absolutely feel the people have a right t

Missouri Lottery Ignites Controversy with Computerized Drawings
Ball machines have been good enough for the last 30 years or so, so why the heck do they seem so determined to switch to computerized drawings? The lottery officials must think they are going to make the game more difficult to win or they would not even mess with it. Lottery officials are DIRTY people! The job that they have is too make sure that nobody wins the game. I'm sure they think they are screwing us over somehow! Somebody needs to write a letter to president Bush, maybe he can do so
