CT Radio Ads absent?
You can find all current jackpots by clicking Jackpots on the left side of any page.Once there, you can sort the table any which way by clicking the column headers. So finding Connecticut's Classic Lotto jackpot is pretty easy to find by clicking on State, then looking for Connecticut.

Lotto TN??
Yeah she's the one that began Lotto GA then shut it down in favor of Lotto South which IMHO was a very bad idea and made lots of Georgians unhappy including me. Lotto South jackpots are not much higher than Lotto Georgia jackpots were, has a higher matrix and simply is not as enjoyable.Hey, let Mrs. Paul join Lotto South and let Georgia go back to Lotto Georgia!! That would be a winner!!

Are we seeing the results of CA?
Me personally, I didn't think that CA would have alot of influence on the jackpots. I just figured the main thing that would happen is that less people would win less often because of the matrix change and the end jackpots would be higher. I can't say if they are moving up any higher or not because I haven't really paid attention. -Bonnie

Texas Lottery chief admits jackpots were inflated
Lotteries are the goose that laid the golden egg to some people. Truth is sometimes they just don't meet expectations and people lose interest (especially if there are infrequent winners or winners too frequently) High jackpots or guaranteed jackpots daily seem to draw people. Do they have a multistate game?

Californians snap up tickets for new Mega Millions lottery game
That will never happen. The reason why states join multi-state lotteries like PB and MM is to offer huge jackpots to their residents which their own lottery cant produce. Big jackpots result in high sales, which is the reason my states join multi-state in the first place. Florida's lotto can generate the same jackpot levels that Lotto South generates on its own. So, I dont think they would join LS.

the blue game
Unfortunately, with a cash-only jackpot game, the jackpots would not grow as fast and therefore would not generate as much sales. Annuitized jackpots are a marketing device.

powerball poll
these changes were long overdue. even before the recent string of jackpot winners, there were some jackpots that were hit at really small levels. remember when three straight winners were from IN, in the period of about 2 weeks? how about the jackpots back in 2002 and 2003 that were less than $50 million? i'm very happy with these changes.

Has Anyone Heard of This System??
Hey John, You said He promises at least 3 Fantasy-5 jackpots. In whose lifetime? or better yet, does he give you back your money if you don't get 3 fantasy-5 jackpots?

Lotto 5 for May 2, 2005
I see them adding draws in the near future. Lotto 5 really took off early this year because they started EST jackpots. Maybe GA needs to take some notes from TN. They have a match 2 prize but if they started est their jackpots they may get more takers.

how are they going to draw the new mega
Quote: Originally posted by dvdiva on April 29, 2005I think if they went with computerized drawings they would loose out on the big marketing potential of having live drawings for record jackpots. They could have celebrities draw balls live on tv at some famous location to draw more attention to the game for record jackpots. If it's a computer drawing then no big potential marketing push. The whole point of these games should be to generate money for the states that participate.Excellent point!
