Latest from Win-Track
Got a letter from Win-Track today, I think I know what happened to the writers of the Weekly World News (no longer in print): All lottery games (at least 90% of them) are now machine run. They have a special device within the ball machine that runs like a clock to release each lottery ball. The more the machine runs and releases a winning number ball, the harder it is to release the same winning ball in consecutive runs to trigger a second jackpot, any jackpot. This is because the special

Question on Pools
I just read the Oklahoma lottery rule and regs page. I f you are in a pool there is a form that has to be filled out. One person may claim for the group but must have photo copies of everyone in the pools two forms of idenity. Also they need wriiten permission for the lottery to release your check to them, otherwise they will be mailed to you. So ten members in the pool, ten checks.

Georgia lawmakers question lottery bonuses
I don't know anything about Georgia, but not all games have equal payouts. You'd have to look at what they return to the state overall. For instance, some Scratchers games have higher prize structures than other types of games. It's not unlike the casino, where the slots sometimes return 90% as prizes and the house makes it up on table games. They probably release information on the cost of administration as a percentage of sales.

The Implications of Cracking the Code..
This is pretty deep stuff! I'm from the old school. I use a pencil and paper system to help me 'guess' what the winning numbers will be. Sometimes I'm right, most times I'm wrong - usually by one number! Here's a challenge. Go buy one of those minature Bingo machines. Put in 10 balls numbered 0 to 9. Crank the handle a few times and then release a ball. Restock the machine, crank it a few times and let it release a ball. Restock the machine, crank it a few times and let it relea

$93 million lottery winner has yet to claim her prize
i can understand the lottery officials looking at the photo after a few months of someone not claiming it but it is still very early so i hope they dont release that photo to the public anytime soon because the winner may be seeking financial advice and wants to choose when to come forward with the ticket and reveal her identity

After a big multi-million win how long would you wait to come forward?
I would have to agree whole heartedly. My big fear is the pree release. I don't want anyone to realize that it was me who won. I've read too many horror stories about people who won the big jackpot. So if very few people if any knew, than I could quietly disappear.

Tenn Lottery spokeswoman said no chance of drawing error
Do you send these stories out to the mainstream media also? Maybe as a press release? I'd love to see one of them pick it up. Even if it were just within TN state like a local news station or daily paper, I think it would have an impact.

Hoosier Lottery
Well Jim, actually the record hasn't been broken, it's been tied. The previous record was at $42 million. One more roll will make a new record. Even with a new record, I don't expect any type of press release or commercial. I hardly ever see a Hoosier Lottery commercial. The Hoosier Lottery just doesn't advertise their lottery as much as others like the Kentucky Lottery. Haven't got a response from my email yet.
