I just broke the mold on quick picks
I just got back from buying my 5/39 quck pick and I have to share this with you. The machine gave me 5 consecutive digits. There are only 34 consecutive combinations out of a possible 575,757 combinations. I bought another quick pick to cover my bases. This was worth the price of the ticket and I think I'll tuck it under my box of Lucky Charms.Has this ever happened to anyone else?

PowerBall 11-10-04
Well, once again I was saved by a PowerBall number quick pick. The machine gave me the 26on the same line where I hooked up the 21 and 45. It still didn't get me over the hump. I spent $10 and got back $7. Oh well, I'll fire at 'em again on Saturday. Congrats to everyone who cashed a ticket.Good luck, aye'

Instant vending machines
I didn't know there were scratch ticket vending machines until visiting New York several years ago. Here in Louisiana, we don't have lottery vending machines, we have to go to the cashier for them at Circle K.I honestly don't believe your chances are necessarily better with a vending machine or bought from a human. It all depends on the odds of the game in question.

Pennsylvania Lottery Flawless??
interesting.Sometimes with the PA tix, if the machine won't read them right, the clerk could type in the ticket number (I had to have that done for a match6 $2 winner because the barcodes printed crooked).BTW, Howdy Neighbor (I'm from Schuylkill Haven) ;-)

Mega Millions June 15th 2004
My quick pick ticket had the numbers 10-14-27-29-30 and 41 as MB. 29 and 27 were the first two numbers out of the machine and none of the other four numbers hit. That is bad!

Why do $5 Quick Pick Tickets...

The lottery terminal operator has no control over what numbers are selected. They are random selections.Good luck,Jake

Poll - Do you play lotto on Sunday?
Only if I'm in the store, which I probably am. No reason not to. Only draw game, as others in Pa. mentioned is Cash 5. If there's a big rollover ($400,000 or more) I definitely try to make a special trip, or at least an excuse to go to the store. And yes, a scratch ticket out of the machine, if I have any spare (dollar) change.
