N.C. Lottery making changes to counter weak sales
They need to up with something, i was wondering if they even select any winning jackpots, scratch offs, mega, or powerball in Charlotte. IF u check the winners on the NC lottery website, the winners r few and its not for that much money. The school system in mecklenburg is really suffering now, with possible plans of cutting some of the public bus service. All i'm sayin is lets c some big WINNERS down here n CHARLOTTE!

Ex-wife gets millions from lottery winner 10 years after leaving him
Some years back when Ohio Lottery had jackpots up to $60M, a Pennsylvania man won an Ohio Lottery jackpot of ~$45M and his estranged wife who he hadn't seen in a few years filed a claim for half his winnings. To protect half his winnings from her he claimed he and his girl friend bought the tickets. After his girl friend got her half and left him, he ended up with less than a quarter of his winnings after sharing his half with his estranged wife. Sounds unfair but it was legal, he should hav

New Lottery
I'm not concerned about lottery profits just know from experience, they won't lower the odds unless it's for a free ticket. The odds against winning MM and PB are exactly the same in every drawings, but the players can get better payoff odds on the same buck by waiting until the jackpot gets higher. $140 million for $1 is better than $12 million for $1 if that's their reason for playing. For secondary prizes with fixed payoffs nothing changes, but players can get better payoff odds by playing

With: $700,000 you got: 98.9% of winning Powerball/MegaMillions GUARANTEED, if you lose you get your money back... If that was true more millionaires would be playing those games. ** Excuse me, I thought you were talking about winning their jackpots. If you just want a ticket that win something then you can play all the bonus numbers and win at least $2 or $3 and that cost less than $50.

POLL: Best entertainment at the Institute for the Lottery Insane
We're always glad to hear from one of our long term residents. After Lottery Changed My Life aired Thursday night there was a bog fervor over the book by the seven time lottery winner. Therr was another chair throwing incident as not being able to play like he does if you don't have his bankroll was being discussed. Several people decided that despite never having won seven jackpots, or any for that matter, they still planned on writing a book about How to Beat the Lotto.

New Tennessee lottery game debuts tonight
The worst part about this new game is that it's computer generated. And Tennessee has been caught cheating through their computers before. You have to wonder with all that money generated with the lottery and with the majority of people preferring real ball drawings, why they insist on staying with computers. The Pick5 faded away and the only thing that may save this game is the higher jackpots even though it's harder to win. The Tennessee Education Lottery is just like the Federal Gove

Why are there no play slips for wheels ?
Some years ago there was an Australian group that tried to buy all the possible combinations in a Virgina lottery. They made out play slips and waited for the jackpot to get large enough to make a profit by buying all the combinations. They took over three Seven-Eleven stores terminals for three days and tried to run all their play slips and even thought they didn't run them all they did win the jackpot. Fortunately they were the only jackpot winner and they made a profit. Afterward most stat
