I think the systems or methods for predicts the lottery is illusion.
I think it would depend on the concentration of digits in which particular quadrant appeared. The game (in CA at least) works off an algorithm that (I believe) is designed, in part, to create both overrepresented digits and outliers which would result in the sections of some pools being overrepped, and others rarely arising.
When you divide the pool into orderly sets based on digits, you discover both these long outliers, and the rapid-fires. An intelligence doesn't emerge, but something at p

If a young person won a HUGE pot how would you feel?
Youth is wasted on the young. - George Bernard Shaw
I don't think they wouldn't deserve it if they were new to the game. IMHO, that has no bearing on their winning; if they won on the first ticket they ever bought on the day they turned 18, then more power to 'em. There was a young man on TLCML who won a large jackpot and while I can't remember all the particulars, he had a plan for his money, investing a large chunk and funding his dream of making movies. (or maybe it was music, I just do

Poll: New National Game October 19th - Will You Play?
As you all know, the new national game by MUSL, MONOPOLY Millionaires' Club, is launching October 19th and will draw once weekly on Friday nights. The game is RNG, and players choose (or QP) 5 from 52 balls; the secondary bonus pool features 1 from 28 Monopoly properties and will be quick pick-only. It will cost $5 per ticket, feature annuity jackpots between $15 million and $25 million (top odds around 1 in 72.8 million), and claims the potential for hundreds of millionaire Club winners (minimu

Conditional Probability System Opportuities
I'm sorry, I'm just... not totally lost, but mostly.
So are you talking a single digit that's out X days in a row? Right now, in the California D3, the 8 digit has been out for 11 draws now. The 5 digit was out for 12 (overlapping) draws in a row... so the chance of an 8 or 5 coming up, was indeed high. A 555 hit tonight. How would anyone have drawn that specific triple, from this exercise? Also, finally landing on the right digit coming up - say, a box with 8 - still leaves 36 choices to si

Sorry, Yolie.... And everyone else out there who missed it (yay to the winners though!!!)
So lemme get this straight... if we speak purely in terms of boxes... and for the moment leave out the triples... there are 45 doubles boxes and 120 non-doubles boxes. A total of 165 boxes.
The 7 has been out for 19 of the last 20 plays.
Any box containing a 7 = 45 boxes.
Which is 27% of the available pool (over 1/4th!)
So for 19 of the last 20 plays, 27% of the boxes have been off the table?

Thanks, CaLady!!!
snip ... so close, but so far....
I'm concentrating (part of my strategy) on a band of 10 box numbers that haven't shown in (now) 63 consecutive non-double plays:
168, 169, 178, 179, 189, 235, 236, 237, 238, 239
That's fully 8% of the non-double pool. Geez, within 10 (heck, 5?!) more non-double plays, I mean, come on....
Gotta go out and watch the fireworks now happy 4th everyone!!!

Monopoly Millionaires's Rule posted
bobby,
I was wondering about the Club prize drawing too. I also inferred that they would draw from the pool of tickets, rather than simply generate another set of numbers....this is nice because winners are actually guaranteed unlike PB and MM (which technically have no guarantees). I understand now that this is what the developers meant that it would be a hybrid game, combining elements from draw games and scratch-off games.
The cap for me is just a peeve....little to do with how much one
