$731.1 million Powerball jackpot claimed by anonymous group in Maryland
- The article does not say how many tickets were purchased by the pack as a whole. It's very possible that each member purchased 5 or more lines making up one ticket.

$731.1 million Powerball jackpot claimed by anonymous group in Maryland
My reading comprehension might be bad but where does it say that the one person from the group bought just one ticket. Doesn't the lone ticket mean that only one ticket matched the lucky numbers and no one else had those numbers, therefore the lone ticket statement. The article didn't state how many tickets that one person from the group bought.

Massachusetts family returns winning scratch-off worth $1 million to customer who threw it out
But the article stated that the ticket sat in the trash for 10 days. The only way the store owner would know that it belonged to her is that she was the only customer in the last ten days that bought a 30.00 ticket from that particular roll. Unbelievable. I'm not buying their story. Something is FISHY. I Smell Fraught.

Massachusetts family returns winning scratch-off worth $1 million to customer who threw it out
The article said the woman was a regular customer in the store. Since the woman had just purchased the 30 dollar scratch-off in the store, which she probably was the only customer in the store at the time -odds are the store owners knew it was her ticket.

Kentucky Lottery reports record $1.3 billion in sales
I know the article is about the Kentucky lottery but someone spending 250K on lottery tickets is no money at all compared to what some people send or have spent. Youtuber Mr. Beast (Jimmy Donaldson) 23, spent 1 Million Dollars on lottery scratch-off tickets. With a lot of those scratch-off tickets being the $50 dollar tickets. I think when he and his friends finished scratching and scanning all those tickets, I think Mr. Beast lost about 250K. There are people spend some serious money on the lot

North Carolina Lottery adds Cash 5 Double Play feature
One state adds a new feature other state lotteries follow suit. Florida lotto added double play for an additional $1. Works identical to the above article. Two separate draws, one after the other. Lottox w/double play has the same odds as the regular jackpot. But the top prize amount is fixed at $250,000. Since inception the top prize has only been won once.

Pennsylvania man arrested after using scissors and glue to make winning lottery tickets
This article is incomplete. As others mentioned retailers scan a ticket which tells them whether it is a winner or not and what it is worth. The ticket has to be verified before payment can be made. So the big question is why did the store pay out anything in the first place when the tickets in question were not actually winners?

Iowa man accused of lottery fraud for cashing ticket on friend's behalf
l see your point, but the article does not say how much time has expired between Hays cashing the ticket him being apprehended. Sufficient time had passed for Nicholas to buy the TV, the vacation to Vegas etc etc. as l mentioned, word had to have gotten to the female or females of this story who l think got law enforcement involved to end up nailing Hays subsequently- Hanson. The bridge in this story goes through the female or females- IMO.Perhaps, in a fit of anger with the mother of his child

New Hampshire wins appeal; Wire Act does not apply to lotteries
What would be more convincing is if more states joined this lawsuit, which would give it more teeth to force congress to change antiquated laws like this. However, when you have originalist SCOTUS judges it'll very hard to convince them to knock down precedent. I would argue that this law then infringes on Article IV, Section I and goes against the full faith and credit clause.
