In all honesty, Texas does need to increase the odds, and, the amount of wins on scratch-offs. When I look around at other smaller states which seem to have many more frequent winners, I get upset with Texas because we're the largest state and should be doing it much bigger with our own people. I will not play those big jackpot games until they increase lower-tier prize payouts significantly. I will only play big jackpot games if 1) the jackpot is over $200 million and 2) the drawing takes place on a major holiday or my birthday.

That's a good point. I think another big factor in getting past the $400 mark is how much the previous jackpot is and/or the size of the increase. The lead up to this one went from 290 to 363, selling 191 million tickets, which would have put about 70% of combinations in play. The previous MM record went from 275 to 390, selling almost 213 million tickets, putting about 75% of combinations in play. I ask this because since the price increase,pb ticket sakes have been lack luster.I believe they will let this jp to grow but with the jp only increasing only 10 mil per drawing its gonna take a while.th ey need to go back to 1 dollar if you ask me.
