New System software coming soon...
Did a small test of 5 draws and got 5 straight hits. Total cost = 5*5*36 = 900. Total wins = 5*900 = 4500. I know it's only a short term test but from the looks of this, it looks very, very promising. Now, I know that the winning streak will end and may produce many skips in a row, however, right now I think that the skips will not be very large. In fact a strategy might be emplyed to play only after a certain number of skips or up to a certain number of skips. Anyway, it needs to be teste

straight boxed is crooked
I got my response from Betslips this morning, so I'm closing the loop on this subject by posting their response (and my original message) below. These guys (Betslips) are a real class act, and it's a mystery to me why anyone would want to start bad rumors about them. Dear Todd, Thank you for writing to us. Our automated number-matching system has been functioning well. After every drawing, our system examines each ticket played in the drawing, and determines if ther

$853,492 Powerball lottery ticket expires
One of two second-place lottery tickets worth a combined $1.7 million expired Monday, 180 days after a record Powerball lottery jackpot was drawn. Sara Westerman, a spokeswoman for the Kentucky Lottery, said no one claimed the ticket sold in that state by the 5 p.m. deadline. The other ticket was sold in Colorado, where the holder had until midnight MT to claim the prize. All day people came to talk about the ticket where it had been sold at the Hebron BP in Hebron, Ky., said Rahul Pate

N.J. Cash 5 lottery player uses very lucky numbers
A Williamstown, New Jersey, woman who insists I'm not lucky won the New Jersey Cash 5 jackpot of $545,559 March 2 after hitting four of five numbers in the same lottery game a mind-altering 13 times in 16 months. The woman, who requested her name not be used, purchased her winning ticket at Corner Food Market in Washington Township. She watched her five numbers 5, 13, 25, 28 and 38 picked live on Channel 23. According to a lottery spokesman, the $545,559 makes the top 10 in Ca

Tax on interest question
1). How often the interest is paid depends entirely upon how your trust is structured. You might elect to take your interest payments quarterly, bi-annually or annually. To take full advantage of the long-term capital gains tax, however, you should opt for the annual interest payment. You'll only be taxed on the interest earned, regardless of how often you draw it off; your principal is taxed only once, at the time you claim your jackpot. Provided you never dip into it, that principal will remai

Probability of a MegaMillions rollover.
The Megamillions has stepped into record territory, territory certainly not predicted by my exponential model, since the model works with average data. However, I would not be surprised to see the model pick up as the run proceeds, assuming it does so. With that in mind, I post the data, noting that right now it is considerably off the mark: $437,034,541.61$260,234,20454.72%1.09% Average Annuity$380,450,702.56$226,541,10058.73%1.99% $315 $330,510,011.28$196,803,68962.52%3.38% $2

Who Won the $267M Lottery?
No one has yet to step forward to claim the biggest, single lottery ticket sold in Ohio worth $267 million in this tiny town near the Michigan state line, state lottery officials said on Wednesday. Lottery officials are encouraging the winner to contact a lawyer or financial planner before coming forward publicly to claim the ticket from Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing, spokeswoman Marie Kilbane said at a news conference at Lyons Main Stop, a convenience store in this northwest Ohio town

N.D. Lottery director discusses new game possibilities
Possible joint venture between Mega Millions and Powerball could produce massive new game North Dakota's four lottery games have been more profitable than expected, and the state's gambling market could handle another two games before it is saturated, lottery director Chuck Keller believes. Some North Dakotans, who believed Powerball would be the only game introduced by voters' approval of a November 2002 lottery initiative, are wondering when the steady introduction of new gambling variet
