Mega Millions multi-state lottery to get harder to win in Oct.
I'm not a regular lottery player. I'll buy a few tickets for high jackpots such as the recent MM and PB drawings. I typically don't bother playing a few lines unti the $100 million mark. Having said that; I think the new 5/75 + 1/15 format will keep me from playing - even at $100 million and up draws.
Reason being: Matching 5/56 is snip near impossible; adding 19 more numbers to pick from is overkill. Pretty negligent.
I play to win the 5+1 prize. The new format would make my few dollars p

Tenn. lawmakers float ideas to improve lottery revenues
Thank you Ridge! I totally agree.
Too bad the TEL folks won't listen. When the computerized drawings were first announced, I emailed to ask them to reconsider. The canned response included the comment that the drawings were going to be more exciting this way. Really? For whom? How about increasing the prize payouts. How exciting is $100 more or less for 4+1 (out of 5+1)?
I only buy an occasional QP when the jokepot gets way up there.
They should NOT take money from the retailers, who do

Missouri Lottery gives inside view of computerized drawings
Just some thoughts I have:
- The Missouri Lottery started day drawings in 2004 as well. Is there a link between the two perhaps?
- I remember reading that the Arizona and Texas lotteries had problems with their lottery drawing computers. In Arizona, the machine was accidentally programmed to draw numbers between 0 and 8 instead of 0 and 9. In Texas, the machine was programmed to not draw doubles. Arizona fixed the mistake, and Texas went back to its balls.
- D.C. used ping-pong balls u

In reality, most random numbers used in computer programs are pseudo-random, which means they are generated in a predictable fashion using a mathematical formula. This is fine for many purposes, but it may not be random in the way you expect if you're used to Lottery Drawings.

how to play pick 3,4 and 5 games
Sorry to hear about your state using computers for their drawings. Not a nice thought.
Don't give up though! There are so many reasons why computerized drawings are bad, but it doesn't mean you can't stay on the plus side of things by playing smart.
If you're looking for some numbers to play, it may be worth it to try a month of Platinum membership to get access to the Lucky's Daily Tracker system. It has a nice, smaller set of numbers that are designed to play directly. The system tracks

HACK JOB Tn lottery 000 and 000.
While i agree that Tenn. ought to go back to ball drawings.
Payouts are based on people playing certain numbers more than other numbers.
Triples are the numbers played to the maximum allowable payout on any given day. In almost every state.
The number that comes out midday or evening is also played by lots of people hoping for a repeat.
There no set rule of thumb when doubles will come out there was a double a week ago. A few days before that there were doubles drawn consecutively.

Tenn. proposal for real lottery drawings withdrawn
Somber news for Tennessee Lottery players
A proposal to require the Tennessee Lottery to abandon computerized drawings has been withdrawn for the year.
The chairman of the House State and Local Government committee announced Tuesday that the bill sponsored by House Minority Leader Jason Mumpower, a Bristol Republican, was taken off notice.
Mumpower had said he introduced the manual drawings measure in response to a loss in consumer confidence following a computer programming error last

Tennessee Lottery a step closer to restoring real drawings
A Tennessee House panel has advanced a proposal to require the state lottery to abandon computerized drawings for its games.
House Minority Leader Jason Mumpower, a Bristol Republican, says he sponsored the manual drawings measure in response to a loss in consumer confidence following a computer programming error last year.
The glitch prevented duplicate numbers to be drawn for nearly a month.
Lottery officials estimate it would cost about $5 million a year to return to drawing numbered

Tennessee Lottery refuses to revert to ball drawings
25 midday draws and counting the number 4 digit still hasn't been drawn. Give me a break they still think the product they are using isn't flawed i say it is.
It's pretty inconsiderate of them to even suggest that the product is working perfectly.
I am sad to hear that they refuse to revert back to ball drawings. I hope they reconsider. It sounds more like Hargrove is one minded on this. Her staff is lazy they have no interest is pleasing the people of Tennessee just because it's easer a

Georgia Lottery sets sales record with $3.4 billion sales
The Georgia lottery took in a record $3.4 billion dollars during the last fiscal year a $244 million jump from the previous year.
Officials say more than $850 million was transferred to the education fund, which pays for HOPE scholarships and pre-kindergarten classes. That brings the total funds raised to nine-point-three billion since the lottery began in 1993.
State officials were concerned a few years ago that lottery sales wouldn't meet the growing demand for pre-kindergarten class
