Tennessee may cap lottery winnings at $600 for poor
I certainly don't agree with people abusing a system and defrauding us out of our money. You should have reported the fraud. Personally I've never seen anyone on food stamps driving a cadilac or an SUV with 25 inch rims (smaller tires are better people... think), but I'm sure it happens. Disabled vets, disabled workers, mentally ill, auto workers out of a job, single mothers, single fathers.. maried couples with medical bills they could never pay off... etc etc. etc. and 25 inch rims owners

$85M sought for "defective" Virginia lottery tickets
I think it probably has to do with what kind of case would be easier to prove. As I understand, it can be hard to prove fraud, whereas there are probably much different standards to prove a defect. He must have weighed his options along with his risks and decided that defect would be easier to prove.

Can you SMELL that PA STENCH?
100% legal fraud! <<< I DISAGREE with whoever said that ..no one is forcing you to play..you want to hold out and boycott..thats fine..the lottery is just a game of chance where players VOLUNTARILY participate against very big odds in order to win money...the odds are big with 5/39 and they are bigger with 5/43 ..so what.. you still need luck to win jackpot..so the basics have not changed (getting lucky vs getting lucky a bit more)...YOU dont have a right to have a lottery thats fits yo

A Wymore woman was arraigned in Gage County Court earlier this week on charges she and other employees of Blue Springs Keno, a bar located on Broad Street in Blue Springs, Nebraska, tampered with keno machines for their own benefit. NY Lottery says it goofed: Mahopac winner got $31 million after taxes
I wrote: Very few people take annual payments. Let's say someone really goofed (not on purpose) and added a zero. Wouldn't you be thrilled to win $10 million even if you thought it was going to be $100 million? I want to clarify - I was talking about a reporter on the news, not the lottery. If the lottery kept advertising $100 million prize and it was only $10 million, I would consider that to be fraud!

Chinese Man Hacks Lottery System, Gets Life in Prison
Note to self: Next visit to China, don't try rigging the lottery. Zhao Liqun discovered the flaw in the Welfare Lottery 3D system in 2005 that let a person buy tickets with the right numbers within five minutes of their being announced, sources at the Intermediate People's Court in Anshan, northea

Indiana lottery players still hunting year-old jackpot
I just am stunned, said Mike Krueger, a regular Hoosier Lotto player from Whiting. And a lot of other Lottery players and the people at the stores where I play are like, 'Why hasn't it been hit?' Is something wrong?' Hell yes somethings wrong! Its called computerized drawings!Indiana isn't going to let anyone hit the jackpot until they're damn good and ready. As long as the jackpot keeps growing there is a lot of interest and people are spending twice as much hoping to win it.If a priv

Tenn. Lottery CEO claims sales unhurt by numerous errors
Lottery officials said they found no evidence of fraud. They checked the names of all people involved in designing or checking the new system against a winners database and found no matches. that is not evidence that no one cheated to profit just because the winners didnt have the same names or same last names as the people involved. they could have had friends claim jackpots or a relative with a different last name.
