So this is the first time I did this...
Thanks for letting us know j. I've had the urge to do that a million times but never have. I usually get the urge after I see groups of people pooling their money and winning jackpots. Better luck next time!

Manual or Quick Pick
Are you talking Pick 3 / 4 or Jackpots games? (Going by your sig). Maybe threads like this, or posts, should be game-specific. I don't think too many people at all QP Pick3 / 4.

New York P6
Hey Edge how is this working for ya??? Any luck/progress yet? I just noticed that the jackpots are moving by more than 1/2 a mil each time. Tonights moved by 1.5 mil, a couple of weeks ago they were only going up by 1/2 a mil ??? Also noticed that the last couple of months winners were ALL QPs.. which is why I always have $1 in QPs for this game, and my own numbers.

The Lotto Black Book
This kind of stuiff sells because people want so deperately to believe there's something out there that works. I also want to believe there's something out there that might work but I have to ask why would anyone want to sell/share such a system with strangers for any price. Are they making more money selling it than they could ever make using it? Why haven't I heard about this guy on national news? People who buy a few QPs and win a jackpot of $100M+ get national coverage even if they try to

The Lotto Black Book
In my travels I came across The Lotto Black Book by Larry Blair for $67. The book is supposed to be the system he used to win three smallish jackpots totally $1.35 million. This is not somthing I am recommending anyone purchase. What I want is to hear from someone who has read the book and can give me a one line summery of what they got, such as: Shaker box and a wheel and what he means by win 50% of the time, win what at what cost? Thanks BobP

New Guy Here
Welcome to LP Family--I certainly understand your frustration in missing out on that big win; I'm playing birthday numbers and QPs and can't seem to win even the small jackpots--so far within 3 days I've won free replays in the Fantasy 5; missed winning last night's Daily 3 Evening by 1 digit and last week's Daily Derby--When I'm feeling down and frustrated about not winning, I go on the CA Lottery Website as well on LP and read about the recent and previous winners to visualize that my name wil

N.Y. Lottery debuts Sweet Million game Sept. 15
Hi All, Back in the 80's NY had the 6/40 game back then, it was sort of kind of infancy of what was to come in NY. The jackpots that I can remember were not so hot back then and the jackpot was hit pretty regularly so it went up to 6/42 ... then 6/44.... then 6/48 etc etc now it is ridiculous at 6/59 but it does get hit pretty consistently. I like the idea of bringing back this old game in NY it is something fresh here for a change. I also would like to see the old keno come back you could p

Can it pass the "So what" test?
For the lotto and a so what test, I'm trying to do a reverse approach here. Picture ourselves as on a lottery commission and we're given an assignment to see if anyone out there has come up with something we should be concerned about, not cheating, but something that produced consistent jackpot and second tier winners. I would think that's a permanent assignment for every lottery commission. They probably constantly monitor sales and payouts as was mentioned in the PowerBall story concernin

do you think that QPs repeat?
Ever notice how the PB or MM jackpots never reach $400 million? That's most likely due to the fact that as the jackpot grows, the number of total combinations released for purchase is greater than when the jackpot was 1/20 that amount. Ever also noticed the number of people buying tickets increases greatly when the jackpot gets over $200 million? On July 10, the drawing after a $133 million jackpot was hit and the beginning of the latest jackpot run, 17.7 million tickets were sold. The n

$325 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot rolls again
RJOh, I am familiar with Hot Lotto. I just think that the PB group should not have raised the jp. odds YET again this past January. 5/55 + 1/42 (1 in 146 million) was discouraging enough. 1 in 195 million is just plain greedy, hoping that even higher odds will lead to $300 million jackpots more often. Players are NOT stupid; they know when they're being dealt an even worse deal. They didn't even alter the lower-tier prizes with the last matrix expansion. Matching 4/5 + the PB still pays out $10,
