$325 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot rolls again
MM jackpot of $325 million? Nice for the MM group. The Powerball group must be jealous. For all their tinkering with their matrix to raise the jackpot odds last January to an even more impossible 1 in 195 milion (?!!), PB, with now 30 states, hasn't reached the $300 milion jackpot mark in years. Not even five years ago PB had jackpot odds of 1 in 120 millon. Wasn't that impossible enough?? Not that I think that the MM jackpot odds of 1 in 176 million is a walk in the park. But I like to see that

Where do you buy your tickets?--Poll
Even though I have been using the same set of numbers for years, I still try to play my numbers at my favorite store. I have this weird feeling that the main computer will recognize the same set at the same place and have mercy on the player (who happens to be me) I know its silly to think that way but I do. But if I have time I drive to Sacramento ( hours away) to get my tickets usually extra quick pick, at Lichenes . They have some weird good luck thing going. Not only have they hit multiple j

Jackpots for the two multistate lotteries in the U.S. rose above $200 million each as players await tonight's drawing for one of the prizes. USA Mega (www.usamega.com) said on its Web site that stronger-than-expected sales over the past three days increased the jackpot for tonight's drawing by $5 million to $250 million, or $124.8 million in cash. The odds of winning are 1 in 195 million. It's the 10th-biggest prize ever for the lottery, which is played in 30 states including Connecticut, Flo

Lottery winner loses ticket, awarded unspent portion from couple who found it
Oh, the reason WHY folks often don't sign their lottery ticket is because, in the case of a ticket with advance dates drawings' ever increasing jackpots, the higher the cash value of the jackpot gets, the more names the ticket holder may choose to ADD to the ticket (now being able to, after paying FULL taxes, share with family and/or friends). Do remember in the U.S.A., that we can ONLY gift $1,000,000 to either one person or many over our lifetime! After this, we will be charged taxes on this g

2 Questions: Is important to me..Pick6 Monopoly...
you could also do for instace, if you went after $5 million pick6 jackpots and accumulated them, then 12 months x $5 million = 60 in 1 year x 10 years = $600 million which divided by 2,000 members it will be 1 in 3 odds of getting 1 million dollars... but if you take the $60 million x 15 years = 900 million which divided by 2,000 it will almost equal if you divided it in $1 million dollars each member it will be: almost 1 in 2 odds of getting 1 million dollars.... and if you like after the

Switch to Quick Pick
We all play with limited budget each month (I guess), When I play the lotteries, I usually buy 5-20 lines but I don't consider myself on a limited budget but playing a practical amount of lines considering the odds of winning. When I've read about past lottery winners I haven't noticed lottery pools buying a lot more tickets than individual players winning more jackpots. Even here at LP when checking top predictors I haven't noticed premium members who can post 50 lines per game having an adv

Describe Your First Time Ever Playing The Lottery...
Way back in the Stoneage when I first played the lottery, the games were more like raffles. A co-worker had bought some tickets in Pennsylvania and I bought $5 worth of them. I didn't win but I was one of the first people in line to play the Buckeye 300 when the Ohio Lottery started. There were other raffle type games before they went online with the Pick-3 game. I hit my license plate number straight and boxed for a dollar on the second drawing and been hooked ever since. When the Lotto game

Premium members: can I get your help?
Whew! Been doing some serious number-crunching today. All Virgina and Florida results have been loaded and verified from the inception of each game. This is in addition to all the Texas games, which I did earlier today. Also, I have loaded all Mega Millions results, back to the first drawing of when it was called The Big Game (9/6/1996). Looking at the past results, one would notice whether they are viewing The Big Game or Mega Millions results because the bonus ball is correctly named the Bi
