Calif. man with 3 jobs wins $39M lottery jackpot
It's funny that you chose the name cursed , and then the very first word of the first post you make here is a curse.
The payout is lowered for two reasons: cash option and taxes .
Isn't everyone always saying the rich don't get taxed enough? Well, I would say a lottery winner qualifies as rich .
If you want lottery winners to keep more of their jackpots, simply support efforts to lower taxes all-around. Then they'll keep more of it.

There is no Math when it come to winning.
I'm sure they know that players like us are trying to use math to crack the code.
The code was cracked years ago by that foreign investment group that won the Virginia lottery by trying to play every possible combination. Lotteries reacted and established rules that limit the time one person or group can control the use of a lottery terminal and changed the odds of winning lower tier prizes such that jackpots are unlikely to be more than the cost of playing every combination. Now if someone

S.D. rancher claims $232M Powerball lottery jackpot
The taxman did not receive 144 milion in taxes from this Powerball win....232million is the estimated advertised annuity jackpot...and even then sometimes they're wrong with that because the jackpot was advertised as 220 million. Thats what they thought the jackpot was going to be worth if someone won, but they underestimated (which is fine...I'd prefer an under-promise and over-delivery over the opposite) and the final numbers came in at 232 million.
So anytime you see Estimated avdertised a

S.D. rancher claims $232M Powerball lottery jackpot
If this were a movie, nobody would believe it: A rancher struggling to eke out a living in one of the poorest corners of America claimed one of the biggest undivided jackpots in U.S. lottery history Friday $232 million after buying the ticket in a town by the name of Winner.
Neal Wanless, 23, said he intends to buy himself more room to roam and repay the kindness other townspeople have shown his family.
I want to thank the Lord for giving me this opportunity and blessing me with this grea

Pick 3/4 Business Partner
I am actually world-wide. My hometown is Dallas, TX ;)
Not interested in meeting up with anyone online, it keeps me being mysterious, even if I go on TV for interviews (after hitting multiple jackpots) I'll be wearing a mask, and a LP hat...
Before I answer that question, I have one for you which determinds my answer to your question.
Does it cost $, first born, or my soul to the devil?

Boy, talk about disappointment!
I never play the Powerplay or Sizzler option. I figure why throw away an extra dollar on something that maxed out. If you win the jackpot.....the powerplay option is irrelevant. The jackpot doesn't get multiplied by 5. It only is beneficial if in Powerball if you hit 5 WB's., and in that case you get 1 million if you played the Powerplay option. If you don't hit all 5 WB's....then the Powerplay option benefit varies from drawing to drawing.
I figure the extra dollar is better useful to play a

Virginia vs. West Virginia Scratch-Offs
After hearing the news report about the very lucky West Virginia lottery player (who won five scratch-off jackpots!) I decided to go to West Virginia Lottery's website and look at their scratch-offs. I couldn't believe my eyes! I am in shock! They offer many more top prizes than the Virginia Lottery! I knew something wasn't right about the Virginia Lottery. I knew it couldn't be us -- not with the tons of money we have spent on scratch-offs. We should have been winning decent amounts all the tim

Idahos New Pick 5 Game: Double Play Daily
The progressive jackpot only jumped by $113 after 3 days so it didn't get off to a rousing start if that is any indication of play. Still I think I'm going to like this game better than Wildcard 2. Wildcard is 5/31 with bonus 1/16. Payout on 5 match is only $5000. On the other hand you get 2 picks for $1. Match 4 for Wildcard 2 only pays $20 which is really low. Hey getting 4 correct is an accomplishment and getting only $20 sucks. I also don't like the separate bonus ball. Heres hoping play pic

N.C. lottery store owners, employees winning big and often
I think Trulyblessed is on to the main technique that these winning stores use. They watch the sale of tickets on the particular games that have the big jackpots and buy tickets after they see customers not win for several tickets. I have also observed this myself in a Maryland store. The state lotteries usually send a lot of big winning instant tickets to the stores that are producing the most profit for the state to keep the customers coming, so the owners know that their odds are better than
