U.S. lawmaker hits the lottery
Lady Luck smiled on a few House members last year.
New Jersey Rep. Frank Pallone claimed nearly $25,000 in lottery winnings in 2010, according to the latest yearly disclosure forms filed with the House of Representatives.
Likewise, Rep. Dave Reichert, a Washington state Republican, won somewhere in the range $200 to $1,000 during a trip to the Snoqualmie Casino outside Seattle.
Mr. Pallone, a Democrat, owes his haul to his dad. The congressman and his brother pool their money with their

Can prayer affect the outcome of a lottery
Libelous... in an anonymous forum...
You do have a sense of humor...
Seriously though little guy, don't try to explain your motives. This whole thread was phony-baloney rhetoric from the get-go and it's only purpose was to create controversy and strife because you thrive on it.
You were called out on your lottery pool scam and got busted, big whoop.
Now you're mad at the world and want to get even.
And you can't even do that right.

$200 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot heats up
$2000 on a power ball drawing might not be as bad as you project. If the powerballs are evenly distributed among 2000 picks then the winning one will hit 51 times guaranteeing $153 back. The over odds are he will win at least 56 lower tier prizes for $219.
5.57 3/5+0 X $7 = $39
2.54 2/5+B X $7 = $18
16.2 1/5+B X $4 = $65
32.4 0/5+B X $3 = $97
YoungNRich could even have a strategy that would guarantee him even more of his $2000 back using powerplay. At worst his odds aren't any wor

How do you know if your Lottery System is getting better ?
I am absolutely 100% convinced you can have a system thet will get you 2, maybe 3 numbers once every couple of weeks, because I do that often.
But 3x5 isn't good enough.
The best you can do is develop your 'star' numbers - the 2 or 3 you 'know' will hit, and then you have to get lucky with the other 3 or 2 and have them in a pool you devise, and pray that luck is shining on you.
Right now I am not fooling myself: I generally only get 2 numbers I 'know' will hit, the rest I just hope I g

Post your scratch ticket results
Just some advice its better to buy a roll when the store has only 1 in stock or has to make a special order. Each one of my good rolls was an 'extra' the store had laying around that they only ordered 1 roll of and where waiting to put out.
Green Gold is a game publix does not carry around me but when I found out they had a roll, ordered by mistake i guess. i bought it and hit big.
Same with Ruby Red 7s and Casino Action. those are games you have to order yourself because they are older a

Man gets 23 years for robbing Illinois lottery winner
If I were to win the lottery, I'd try to claim anonymously. In my state, a person can't claim anonymously, but they can claim using a trust or a corporation, and many have. Although these methods aren't completely anonymous and someone could find out who is behind the trust, it makes harder than just opening up the newspaper or checking the state lottery website. I think most states allow these methods, but there are a few that don't.
I wouldn't necessarily be concerned with someone trying

$319M lottery winners revealed
I'm confused by the story too, although I have seen something that could possibly explain it, but even then, I still have questions about what actually happened.
In a convenience store located near me, they pre-print $1.00 QP tickets and hang them on a tree stand . It's a small metal pole about one foot high standing on the counter next to the cash register. It has clips on it, and they attach the pre-printed QP tickets to the pole. A small sign says Lotto QP's - $1.00 each. I think the stand

The person who missed out on being part of the Albany 7 should not feel bad
It's not far out at all. For some reason most people seem to think that part of the chain of events that resulted in the 7 people winning could have happened differently, so that the 8th person would have been in the group, while leaving other parts of that chain of events unchanged, resulting in the group of 8 winning the jackpot.
Maybe playing my own numbers affects the way I views the results, or maybe it's because as far as I know time is only flowing in one direction, but I figure that e
