Second Chance Lotteries
Although there are many second chance lottery drawings for ticket holders that did not win, many involve a mail in of 5 or more tickets that are re drawn in a lottery and another individual is picked on a certai time and date then the tickets are discarded. some states have had huge responses and actually collected tons of lottery tickets in large 30 yard containers only to be collected and sent off to be recycled. great cause since lottery ickets become litter and cause a mess. i ran across a 2

The so silly its stupid system
One of my favorite lotto tactics remains to track the Since Hit positions of the numbers that hit and then use this information to see the general trend of draw positions the numbers come from over time. I then use this info to select possible draw positions from which the numbers for the next drawing might come. This tactic can very in results based on the number of balls in the lotto game being tracked. It can be very effective in a larger ball game like PB for eliminating positions that

Do you feel bad when you realize you didn't win?
No. I don't feel bad because I usually do win something. Ever since I've switched from PowerBall over to the much easier Pick 6 game, my system has pretty much went through the roof. For the last 2 months of playing Pick 6, after every drawing I have made an adjustment or added another algorithm and my system just keeps getting better and better. Now I've gotten it to the point where I can get AT LEAST 1 set with 3 of 6 every single draw. Now, 3 of 6 only wins $3 so I don't win back my money eve

POLL: "Reverso"
Interesting idea. I can imagine that it would have some appeal to people who like to watch the drawing, because it would typically take longer to find out you didn't win the jackpot. Of course the added suspense might scare some people away or simply kill a few outright.
For people who watch the drawing and match the five regular balls it could be excruciating torture waiting to see if their extra ball stays put.
How about they just pick the regular balls, and then all of the 5+? winners

If Your State Pre-Test's its Draws List it here
the idea behind pretest is to assure that the same digits don't come up over and over again repeatedly. To rule out tampering. And to assure equipment is functioning properly.
In many cases it is also done so new lottery attendants can familiarize the 2 minute episode that will take place live on air.
don't try and say that pre tests ruin the outcome of a draw. the on air drawing is the only draw that matters. they could run pre test for 5 hrs if they wanted to... in the end the official

Do they use the same ball machine for midday and pm?
It looks like they use 1 machine with three chambers and use a different machine each month.
The Texas Lottery performs at least four pre-tests before every Pick 3 drawing. The Pick 3 drawing machine uses three separate ball sets one for each of the three winning numbers. Each of these three ball sets are tested in separate chambers of the Pick 3 drawing machine.
I really don't know how many sets of balls they use but so far this year, they used sets A29 - A48.
How does that knowled

Damn, I keep putting all the right numbers on the wrong lines...
From drawing to drawing since I started my system, I have been getting closer and closer to the jackpot win. The last two PB and previous 3 MM drawings (minus the last MM drawing), I have had ALL of the numbers in my number pool show up (a pool of 20 numbers or less). I just can't seem to put all the right numbers on the same line. I do the 3 odd 2 even and vice versa bit, I follow repeat patterns, longshot patterns, super hot, hot, mild, cold patterns, start low end high, start low end low,

Pick 4 questions
Florida
Unlike the Lottery's other on-line games, which are pari-mutuel in design (that is, players are vying for a portion of what is in the prize pool), Cash 3 and Play 4 offer set prize payouts. Therefore, the Lottery has established a $5 million liability limit for Play 4 for any particular four-digit number in each drawing. Should any four digit combination (for example 7777) be purchased often enough in a single drawing that would result in the liability limit being exceeded, the Lotter

Do You Buy Lottery Tickets Right After The Drawing?
I just found out that it is possible to buy Mega Millions tickets right after the drawing (about 10:30 Central Standard Time).
The ticket is printed with the previous jackpot.
Does anybody else do this, even though the Jackpot is still unknown until 1:00 A.M?
It is great for me, because my state doesn't sell Mega Millions.
