John has it exactly right, assuming one ticket for each drawing. The fact that a bunch of posters here don't understand the math doesn't change the facts. Having two tickets makes you twice as likely to win, whether it's two tickets for one drawing or one ticket for each of two drawings. The chances of two events happening is the probability of one event time the probabilty of the second event, so the chances of winning PB and MM when you buy one ticket for each of two drawings ineach game is

Todd, How do you feel about pre-tests and tube shuffling? I'm starting to wonder whether taking a risk of a computerized drawing, is worth or equal to the risk of a ball drawing. A ball drawing requires messing with the system. Do pre-tests ruin the flow of what was meant to be in the first place? This is not a filtering method is rather a method to try and determine what numbers will play in the next drawing I just added some restriction to the way i will be sort of speak constructing/developing the possible combinations for the next drawing...IF you can develop a program that could construct/building the possible combinations that arise for the next drawing and let it have some restrictions/constraints like for example, you want that after adding or subtracting 3 of the subtracted/total

Maryland Raffle Sales End? OK When is the Drawing?
The MD lottery site still says that the sales for the raffle ended today at 6 PM. No word on the drawing date and time or if sales will be extended. Any thoughts or ideas? I was going to buy another ticket, but I guess 7 will suffice. Thanks all!

The biggest problem with Lucky for Life is that Pennsylvania is a state with a large population of senior citizens, with a rapidly leaving population of younger people. Pennsylvania's economy is tanking. I am among the so-called brain drain and do not regret it at all. Pennsylvania has two for life scratch-off games, a $2 and a $10 version. These games are probably sufficient, however, if PA wants to have a for-life jackpot drawing, they should join up with the Win for Life game in GA/KY

Congrats to all winners, regular draw and promotional green ball draw. You will only get paid from the bonus drawing (green ball) if you bought your ticket in the state. The green ball drawing results will not appear in any lottery history. It's just a second chance drawing, but a very popular promotion in the state. Oh nooo, i hope it be only your imagination Amazng Grace because today, after of 6 days, (in the TRIS game i play) the number 2 fell in the midday drawing, the last time the number 2 saw the light was 10/31/2006; the reason i say that i hope it be only your imagination is becasue i don't have the 71, nor the 76 pair in my picks for the Eve drawing so i hope your observation doesn't be a genaral rule in this case.
