N.J. Lottery to add Powerball?
Although I live in Bethesda, Maryland, and buy PB Tickets in Washington DC, It would certainly be intersting to watch and see how this develops. I actually like the competiveness of MEGAM$$$$$$$$ VS PB...in the Metropolitan area...I enjoy the excitement of watching the Jackpots soare and the long lines of people trying their chances to win.........:;......)I play MEGAM$$$$$ in MARYLAND and then play PB in the DISTRICT
.I really do not want to see the games consolidated and hope that they rema

N.J. Lottery to add Powerball?
I would welcome PB in nj but miss the trips to PA.. but they have other games I like too.
I would imagine that MM sales would certainly drop with PB added, the question is, will people play additional tickets for PB, or will they play PB *instead* of MM, with both available? Some will be asking at the counter, which jackpot is higher, and play that one only. I know I do better on MM but I'd always play at least one PB, more on a higher jackpot.
Every time they add a State, they add more ba

New Jersey Cash 5
jersey cash 5 is a very bad odds game in my view...i have played it before...the starting jackpot of 50,000 is very low for the 658,008 odds....sometimes it rolls high but it also gets hit frequently meaning possibilities for split jackpots are more...
since the question is for those that do try how to figure out an easier way to a win:
my approach to this game has been to first nail that first number (i try to always pick 1 thru 4 as my first number) ..i never play # 40 ..the rest is just

You can win anywhere!
I wouldn't say that for MI i think the wealth is spreaded around. For
awhile the folks in the intercity(detroit) were not winning any jackpots
but i can say that the wealth hits all communities

Anyone else try and buy tickets in another state? B/C of Superstition?
The reason I ask is I have read the last 2 Large Mega Millions jackpots were won from the state of GA. Where I happen to buy tickets. The folks from Portal, GA that won 275 million and Ed Nabors that one half of a $390 million dollar pot. I am thinking that my luck in GEORGIA might be tapped out! I bought 2 scratchers and the rest on MM tickets. My scratchers were losers.....and tonight I matched only 2 numbers and the MegaBall. I think I am going to diversify and buy my Mega Millions tickets th

Two tickets will share $174M Powerball lottery jackpot
I played in Delaware once, but not recently. Surprised with the new matrix that DE came up being a small share of sales.. I will guess that it was someone visiting the Delaware House rest stop (did they remodel all that yet?), and as for the PA ticket, they're quiet about where it was sold in either State, but I did play-ahead PA Powerball around my Birthday last month. I remember the machine was screwing up, and gave me Powerball tickets with a start draw of Feb. 25 (a month later than I asked)

Lottery Post Site Update (Feb. 25, 2009)
Wanted to post one more follow-up on this thread.
I have hopefully fixed the bug that many IUE users were seeing the page would occasionally throw a severe JavaScript error in IE and then show a blank page, forcing you to click Back, then Refresh. Hopefully it has been eliminated.
A few other fixes were implemented:
Fixed the state lottery results pages, which would show blank jackpots in IE6 Added Share/Bookmark button to news stories, allowing instant sharing of news stories to pract

Early talks for a joint Powerball-British lottery game
Most people I know would not play any game after awhile if no jackpots are paid out anywhere near their area.
Heck the Mega Millions has been on for comming on 13 years and the closest win to here has been about 400 miles away.
You could move about 400 miles south-east and start buying tickets again if you think that helps your chances.
