Can I Write My Lottery Losing Tickets Off If I Have Saved Them During The Year?
You need to have a running log of ALL of your gambling activity for the year, and report ALL your wins.
If joyceepoo is a professional gambler, they should already know that. But for the average player that gets a W2-G for winning over $600, they can deduct up to that amount by going long form using schedule A.
If the IRS enforce their rules Gambling winnings are always taxable income every player cashing a Free Ticket or more would be required to file IRS Form 1040 regardless of income

misprinted slips
Today I played a regular fantasy 5 but the machine printed a ticket with an EZ match.
The owner said to give her another dollar, which I didn't have.
I showed them that there was no EZmatch marked on the ticket.
She gave me the dollar back and kept the ticket and said 2 dollar loss .
I am assuming that the EZ match didn't win anything or they would have been
happy to keep it. That is the second time that has happened.
Time to permanently find a another retailer as the

Truck driver wins $1.9M lottery jackpot, will keep driving
A recent immigrant to Canada is Manitoba's newest millionaire.
Gennadi Belinov is nearly $2 million richer after he won a share of Wednesday night's $3.9 million Lotto 6/49 draw.
The Winnipeg man said he took a long look at a self-serve ticket checker when he scanned his ticket Thursday evening and learned he had won $1,979,992.
I thought, 'What are all these numbers?' So, I took it to the clerk and asked if she could check the ticket through her machine. Then the machine said 'Woo hoo

Probabilty of Someone Winning a PB & MM Jackpot in the same Week!
No matter how many tickets are played only one combination can win, and of 175,711,536 combinations only one can be drawn.
But Coin....
People are saying if I buy 2 tickets I'm cutting the odds in half and buying 10 tickets will reduce the odds to 17.5 million to 1. So I took their advice and bought 10 tickets but when I got home, read the Mega Millions website and looked at my tickets; I think I got ripped off!!!
When I looked at my 10 tickets, I noticed I had 10 different mega ball

N.Y. store clerk busted in Lotto scam
I think I was misunderstood, because you sound very defensive Gamegrl. I was only asking if these terminals were available for those who want to purchase lottery tickets (I thought I've read that there are such machines) or scan them. As far as self-serve anything, they are usually a choice from an ATM to a check-out line to choosing drive-thru or going into the restaurant. If a restaurant offers pickup/drive-thru service, that doesn't mean people who don't own a vehicle or are unable to drive

Are Lotteries Rigged
To Konane:Thanks for your support.I've long considered your point concerning multiple ballsets. Illinois uses twenty ballsets and twelve machines for their daily games. The ballset and machines are chosen at random before each drawing, and these machines are then tested several times before the drawing takes place. Michigan has a similar policy. Initially, it seems that you actually have to choose your numbers from a pool of 200 (twenty ballsets x ten balls each), but this really isn't the case.

Winners of at least $1,000
This type of venture needs to be handled strictly on an individual basis...the individual being YOU.
With thousands of scam artists out there, I think you've just made yourself vulnerable to the possibility
of being contacted by people who care nothing about you and what you want.

If you're looking for a grand prize remember this...there are millions of tickets printed for any one game.
More of them if they extended the game. They supposedly increase the prizes with ext

Hi James! No, I don't mind you asking at all. I play a lot of tickets but my plays are scattered throughout different stores. I usually go to 2 favorite/
nearby gas stations, 2 favorite/nearby grocery stores and depending on my travels for the day/every couple days...I'll try whatever is on the way to
where I'm going.
Usually when I go out, I have $100 to play where I choose to stop in - I LOVE the favorite gas station, that's a Top Star station, that's ALWAYS been
good and I don't k

"Dumb luck": Maryland man wins a second time in one year at the same lottery vending machine
Player has fine tuned which tickets he buys and where he buys them from
By Kate Northrop
A Maryland man says it was dumb luck that he ended up winning a $50,000 scratch-off prize from the same lottery vending machine he had won at earlier this year.
In just this year alone, one Maryland lottery player won two big scratch-off prizes from tickets purchased at the same vending machine.
The anonymous winner told the Maryland Lottery that it was all thanks to dumb luck and circumstanc
