What are the Odds: 3 Contractors win 3 of 6 biggest PB & MM Jackpot...
When contractor Jack Whittaker won his prize, he said he bought $100 worth of PB tickets. When the swimming pool contractor in Michigan won his prize he said he bought a hot-dog, used a hundred dollar bill to pay for it and asked for his change in BigGame tickets, the last guy didn't say how many tickets he bought as far as I know so it could be that they all bought a lot of tickets and improved their odds of winning.
When a lottery jackpot gets big, more successful people(some are contrac

Quik Pic observations from a new LP member...
MADDOG10, also am big fan of yours, thanx for the welcome. :)
It is NOT having the same number picked in ONE STATE even twice, or even more than that, that s stunning, since its it the number of picks being selected, like in the March 6 frenzy, that would determine that, and if all the activity or mst of it was in a given area, it could happen. What were are talking about here is only 300 selections with multiple 5 ball repeats and like 12 exact copies, from different stores i nthe same area,

a system that never died
Welcome to LP.
Just start from page one of this thread and read. By reading the thread you can understand the development of this topic to where it has gotten to, right now. I did not start the thread, I've just been throwing in my two cents. Now it is about 7 pages long, within those pages are examples of how to work this particular system. There is no magic system to win, you have to understand what is being said from the particular point of view or system that someone has been gracious

Damn, I keep putting all the right numbers on the wrong lines...
When we first got the Buckeye 5 (5/37) in Ohio I was positive that I could win $100 grand but that idea only lasted about 4 month so I played an occasional $5 QP. We now have Rolling Cash 5 (5/39) and the jackpots get over $300 grand so I jumped back in. I tried a new method of selecting the numbers, came up with 18, and played a 3if5 abbreviated wheel for $30. I did better than getting close because I had all 5 numbers and the wheel preformed exactly how it was designed; I got one 3 and some 2

Powerball won in Oregon.
For various reasons our memories can be very selective. Oregon had the PB record for about a year, and the big jackpots are easier to remember since there aren't as many of them. Pennsylvania has a population of about 12.5 million. The only other PB states with even half as many people are Indiana and North Carolina, and the latter has only been a PB state for a short time. If Pennsylvania didn't have a lot of winners it would be unusual (assuming that Pennsylvanians play at the same rate as pe

Nevada panel passes lottery proposal
I believe, adding lottery to Nevada will not take profits from the casinos...But what Nevada needs to do is Not join Powerball/MegaMillions...It nees to have its own lotto like Florida an Texas....An I wish they will listen to me...They shoul not have a lottery like WVa Cash25, Texas's Two steps or Ky's CashBall for this games will indee take players away from the casinos...They do not need and should not have a regular pick5....The perfect pick5 game for Nevada is Fla's MegaMoney, an it shoul

I am going to try to change the rules about annonymity...
Maybe get the lottery officials to see the benefits of jackpot and 2nd prize winners remaining anonymous.
Has it ever occurred to you state lottery commission have discussed this and came to the conclusion it's more beneficial too all the players that the identities of jackpot winners be known?
Most players don't care who wins the jackpots as long as they know that somebody actually won them. The lotteries are run by state governments so a list of winners is part of public record. Why s

Realities of winning the lottery
FatLane: It's a big number and it's a hard number to put into perspective. If you play $1 each draw, it is expected that you will have to put up your $1 for 170 million drawings before it is statistically likely for your numbers to hit.
Interesting post, but according to probability, even if you play your $1 for the full course of 175,711,536 games (the exact odds # of combos), you only stand a 63.21% chance of winning the jackpot. Playing the $1 for twice that amount of games (351

Attention Ga instant game players :
Do not buy the scratch game Double Down unless you are not seeking the big money.
It's a $3 game and all the $80,000 jackpots have been claimed.
Georgia does not post this type of info at the stores...Just an FYI

lotto gender...:who has better odds?
I have 3 questions in one...Who do you say are more likely to win Powerball MegaM women or men? And who has win most Pick6 (not pick5), pick5 + PIck1(like Hot lotto), MegaM Powerball jackpots; men or women? The majority in your state that play lotto are mostly women or men?
I think this is a good question, I don't even know the answer....
thanks...
