Let's say there are 20 people in an office. Ten go into a pool and 10 don't. They get lucky and hit. Now one of two things almost have to happen: 1. C'mon, you know I'd go a buck, in fact here's my buck, cut me in. So what was a 10-way split would become 11, or 12, etc... OR 2. Those 10 resent you for winning and they didn't and you have new enemies for life.

There is no doubt in my mind that Bill Gates, Ophra, and most of the others in the Fortune 500 are HAPPY people; and that tons of money is the reason; either as primary or underlying. I realize that they are HAPPY everytime they get on their private jet to see Paris, China, or whatever, or throw a two-million dollar birthday party for theirself. I see it whenever I realize they have the best medica and dentall care money can buy, which prevents most of the suffering you and I are doomed to.

I'm running a pool at my work where every payday(every 2 weeks), each member puts up $4 and we buy 3 Powerball and 3 Louisiana Lotto tickets for 4 consecutive drawings. I have filled out playslips for multidraw tickets and I just hand them to the clerk who just runs them through the machine and it prints the tickets.
