COMPUTERIZED DRAWING GLITCH STRIKES ARIZONA LOTTERY
Especially with other people's money.
Come to think of it- where is Ronnie? Could it be that he too was a victim of this so called Glitch .
Trying to put the genie back in the bottle is foolishness at this point. This crap could be Nationwide and may well have been going on for years, whose to say otherwise?Accepting the word of these lottery officials that the problem is now fixed is too little too late.
Its time to send these computerized drawings into the Abyss.

signing the petition for true drawings
How does one check if computerized drawings are random, or selective, like Russian Roulette? They will not have professor from Harvard inspecting, will they?
That's a bad part. Everyone should sign the petition. The alternative is to try and crack computer pattern.
In general such change means that the type of people who wins will be different from now on. Whomever did not win big before... oh, that's us. :)
In general big prize winners pool will dwindle thanks to computers.

Four years after drawing fiasco, Tenn. Lottery settles with tech firms
In one of those links Todd posted is a discussion about an email received by an LP from the Tn Lottery assuring them that test draws had been run and doubles were drawn during the tests. According to the statement made by the Tn Lottery after the glitch was found, it was impossible for any digit to repeat.
While the glitch was reported to be human error, it was covered up because of all the opponents of computerized drawings. It clearly showed glitches could occur whether by design or by acci

Arkansas Lottery director resigns
His first mistake was to focus solely on the business end and not the player end. Computerized drawings were the result, and the way these things go, Arkansas players will be stuck with them until the end of time.
Yes, the scholarships are important and the entire reason for the lottery's existence, but they won't get any better or more numerous with a player base that lacks excitement and loyalty.
So it would have been much better to put the players and their games first and foremost, and

Shouldn't we want more computerized lottery systems?
It goes way deeper than computers aren't fundamentally random. Computers can and have been manipulated it's programing can be altered by pushing buttons that doesn't allow doubles to be drawn.
As reported in the Tennessee lottery when they switched to computers to draw numbers for almost two months they robbed the people by not allowing doubles to be drawn and when the people reported something was wrong they ignored it until someone contacted the governor's office.
Computerized drawings f
