What made the drawing so special, IMHO is the amount of comments that came on LP. Todd correct me if I'm wrong but memory serves it was the sheer volume of commenters. Now perhaps lottery fatigue comes in to play.

Yes, those are definitely correct entries at Lottery Post (I made them myself), and it was a legit promotion. Below is a screengrab from a promotional video at the time. The numbers do have certain behaviors to them. There has to be at least one number that has the least number of hits per year, and one (sometimes two) has to have the most hits per year. There's always a normal distribution or Bell Curve for all the numbers in any game. Also in just about every game, repeaters, one, two, three and four skips typically have the most hits in any given number of drawings. I like to keep it simple and use behavioral things like this to help me pick my numbers -

Even with the 2nd drawing added, doesn't Fantasy 5 still have the best potential earnings value out of all the jackpot games? Before I started this thread, I tried to learn about Fantasy 5, and I also learned Cash Pop is another game with the best EV. Both Cash Pop and F5 are the best games to play when it comes to EV. Powerball and especially the ticket price increase of mega millions, and their higher combination count just isn't worth it. Maybe a quick pick here or there when the prize pool g

It doesn't matter what numbers you pick. All 1000 combinations have the same probability of winning -- 1 in 1000. In order for your list to be better than some other list, the probability distribution of the drawing would have to be something other than uniformly distributed (weighted balls or a biased RNG).
