CBS publishes second hatchet job on lottery
I never did like that lady, even when she was hosting the Today show. I may start watching CBS news again when she leaves. Depends on who replaces her. I play the lottery because I enjoy doing it. I do not play my whole pay check. I only pay for a few tickets. I play mostly when the pots are large enough where I could retire on. I still play even when they are not so large, because I could still relax and enjoy the good thinsg of life with my family. Everyone says that is all it is a Dream , bu

Connecticut postal worker 'set for life'
Congratulations on the win.
Having retired from the Postal Service 3 years ago, I know that $70,000 a year would definitely have me, Set for life . He looks like he's still a few years away from retirement so he will have a nice nest egg built up by then. Hopefully, he will not retire right away.

Tennessee Lottery takes back refund offer
She's trying to rectify a problem by placing the blame elsewhere this could be a career disaster as that is what many people do when they have put themselves in the thick of it. My guess is she has relegated some of here former duties to subordinates and they in turn cause some problems. While ultimately it is her responsibility to answer for any wrong doings she must have been to busy counting her big bonuses to pay any attention to what was really happening.
I don't think she'll retire you

Reverend Bunky for President
Wait, Which path of eventual fail he takes ? Wow, that shows how much class you got. You know what? I'm glad Bunky won so all you jealous middle class jerks here can watch him spend his money. Oh you poor little things. You can't retire and you're going to work until you die, so you decide to throw every little insult you can at this guy. You can't even encourage him to do well with his money. Hell, even I'm probably not better off than most people on this forum, but you don't see me showing an

$325 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery nears record high
Actually the drawing for Friday Mega Millions Jackpot will be $400+ million dollars. The last huge MM went from $270m to $390m on the day following to the drawing date.
I predict this Friday MM Jackpot to be $400+ million dollars and I'm so happy because I'm going to win it ; ) My parents can finally retire from their crummy job :) and enjoy a good easy life.

Trash diving
well anyone looking in a trash can has to realize that the odds arent good that a winner was sold there and the winner checked their ticket in the store, somehow overlooked it and thought it was a loser and then decided to throw it in the trash and on top of all of that you would have to get there before the trash is emptied or before another person who goes through the trash for tickets gets there. i have seen people get free tickets from scratch offs that way in the trash can but no jackpot wi

POLL: 'Moral' obligation for a jackpot winner
The obligation isn't moral; it's pratical. If I owned my own business, and if it was more than just a way to make money , then maybe I would keep that business as a means of some sort of fulfillment. As it is, I work a blue collar job for an hourly wage, and I would quit my job in a New York minute if I ever won enough money to retire on, not only to free up the job for somebody else, but also to free up myself to do the things that I want to do. I like to think that I would throw myself into
