Chinese media is reporting that the government plans to restart its online lottery operations after ordering their suspension over a year ago.

RICHMOND, Feb. 24 There is a dream common among regular lottery players: to wait until the jackpot reaches an astronomical sum and then to buy every possible number, guaranteeing a winner.
Sure, it would cost millions of dollars. But the payoff would be much richer.

Letter sent to 360 elected officials and investigatory agencies regarding fraud within NYS Lottery
This, an other shady practices, is an issue endemic to all state lotteries. While I salute your effort rgse90, I doubt much will come of it. Lotteries, like all other multi-billion-dollar businesses, are very good at wriggling their way out of corruption.
Allow me a moment to don my pretend Lottery-Rep cap and provide a fictional, if likely, response:

Unclaimed Va. $100K Cash 5 lottery ticket about to expire
If you played Virginia's Cash 5 lottery game back in January, you may want to check your pockets, bags and glove compartment, because one lucky person is holding on to a winning lottery ticket that is set to expire soon.
A lucky winner purchased a ticket for the Cash 5 night drawing at the 7-Eleven at 9807 Cockrell Road in Manassas on Jan. 12, 2015. The ticket turned out to be a $100,000 winner, but no one has come forward to claim the prize, Virginia Lottery said Monday.

Mass. Lottery wants to experiment with online gaming
Massachusetts Lottery officials asked lawmakers Tuesday to pass legislation that would let the agency experiment with online gambling.
We are not proposing to offer these games to our players with an actual cash transaction, nor are we seeking any appropriation to fund such operations, Lottery Assistant Executive Director Beth Bresnahan told the Committee on Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure. Rather, in the interests of preserving and protecting the Lottery, we simply want to en
