Lotto Max/Lotto 649 Rigged?
I've searched lots of forums to see what people think of Lotto Max and Lotto 649 being rigged. I have found something interesting. I began having suspicions when I noticed for mega jackpots there would be long periods of no winners, while at the same time sales spiked substantially. Mathematically, the number of plays exceeds the odds, so the probability of a winner greatly exceeds the stated odds. Example: if someone plays one board in Lotto MAX, they get 2 additional draws as a b

Is there any method or system that can an predict the first digit that will fall in Pick 3
How long would it take to print every Powerball ticket? AI Overview Printing every possible Powerball combination (over 292 million) using a single, standard lottery machine would take roughly 3,000 days or over 8 years . Even if printing 10,000 combinations per hour, the time required, combined with the 2-3 day window between drawings, makes it impossible for one person to buy all combinations. Key Takeaways Total Combinations: 292,201,338. Time Calculation: Assuming 1

Data breach at lottery tech vendor Brightstar exposes personal info of over 100,000 individuals
Very good points. Didn't 'they' say the jackpots would grow faster? They don't. Also you mentioned they should reduce the tax rate, that's on the IRS not the lottery. As far as I could tell a couple of years ago there is no lottery lobbyist group to help on that. Just recently the IRS finally nudged up the taxable rate from $1200 to $2K; several Congress folks wanted it to $5K on slot machine wins. My friend scanned his ticket @ home...$100 winner. Lady @ store tried slight of

Kindness is never wasted! 😊
I agree. Being kind or helpful is buying food or gas, etc for a person in need. If the ticket is a bonus fun thing in addition to food, then I can understand. When I stop at a grocery store lottery machine, I have had men offer me a ticket. I always say no thanks. But other women will take the ticket. It creeps me out. If there is a jp winner in that store, the gift giver could claim he lost his ticket or I promised to split it with him.

Clerk or machine error
Until you run into computer glitches. A couple of years ago at a store I gave the clerk the slip. He ran it but the draw said a week from the current Saturday. I saw this on th ticket and told him to run it again because it was close to the draw time. He did and the same slip printed the correct date the current Saturday. Needless to say the draw was close and I waited at the store. Alas I won. On the next Monday I went to the lottery headquarters and told them the machine printed two different

MegaMillions ticket reprint fraud by a store associate?
You should get a refund of $50 for tickets never received. This reprint functionality between kiosk and cashier lottery machine opens up the possibility of a clerk being able to see the numbers chosen by any customer. BTW, the last lottery ticket that I bought via kiosk did not show at the output tray. The store manager came over, and after explaining my story, he reached up into the output tray and pull out a ticket hidden from standing view.

Winner who claimed half of $395 million Mega Millions jackpot sues California Lottery for other half
If he bought both tickets at the SAME time. Then he has a case. Ticket number should tell when it was purchased and where. Plus time ticket was printed will show up on tickets also. I'm not sure if barcode reveals time printed. If everything points toward that chevron gas station and it's narrowed down to a 5 minute window. All logical reasoning points to him being the full winner of the jackpot. They could bring in a math specialist and he could explain the astronomical odds it would be for the

The lottery has made me lose myself, how can I save myself?
It's about self control. I sometimes refer to buying a lottery ticket as feeding the monster . You can't overfeed the monster. I did for several years. But I also kept track of my spending. One year I spent over $2600 on lottery tickets. At the end of the year I realized how stupid it was and decided to reel it in. I have a budget that I keep. Just today at work I was leaving and walked by the lottery vending machine. I stopped and stared at the scratch offs for a minute and was about to pl

Accidental lottery ticket purchase nets Maryland couple $2 million in Powerball
Not sure if your comment was directed to me and I don't know what some of your acronyms mean (WOF, IGT etc) I'm currently in Texas, a huge lotto state and it's shocking how out of shape these machines are and how unreliable they are. I've lost money by the machines double printing tickets either from me pressing the push buttons or using my app QR code. This happens over and over again at multiple machines and I've contacted the lottery and they are very non chalant, we appreciate your feed
