Statistics around the balance of even/odd and small/big numbers
I am sure that all of you realise that lotto numbers often come out with a balance of even/odd numbers (e.g. 2-4,3-3,4-2) about 75% of the time. The same thing for small/big numbers. I was wondering if there was a statistical/probabilty explanation to this. For any ball drawn, isn't the probabilty of it being even or odd the same? Is this tendency explained by the small probabilty increase that the next ball will be odd if previous balls drawn are even?

JOKER 17 I think COIN TOSS is related too VISIONDUDE he has the same line of thinking when it comes too quick-picks who cares if quick-picks win more often it's not because that method is better or will increase your chances I should know I TRIED quick-picks and they didn't do squat for me

Exactly! When someone says lotto pool at work or in my circle of friends I say NO THANKS. It just causes headaches...Either I win or lose with my few tickets having other peoples tickets in a Pool doesn't increase my odds of winning that much.
