Another CASH vs ANNUITY poll
Cash always beats annuity because of the net present value of the cash vs. the discount value against cash in the future. Annuities do not take into consideration the effect of inflation, and the annuity award would be diminished in buying power over time. However, taking cash would allow a wise investor to to make cashflow bearing investments that will better accrue over time as a hedge against inflation.
