Winning!
Most of the above replies are correct: The vast majority of players do not win because of the astronomical odds. About 70% of all lottery entries are quickpicks and 70% of all jackpots are won by them. Conversely, 30% of entries are non-random and 30% of jackpots are won by people choosing numbers. Playing the same numbers does not impact chances either way. It's not difficult math to calculate........... just difficult to accept. The best of luck to all.

Lotto South
Georgia, Kentucky and Virginia are the only states that play Lotto South. Is there going to be additional states in Lotto South. Is Tennessee going to join Lotto South. I would love to see additional southern states join Lotto South. The jackpots will be larger and more people will play if we have larger jackpots.

MM sets a new record
The Mega Millions jackpot is not growing as fast as before and is well behind record levels. This is partly due to the fact that the two Mega Millions states with the largest population also have the largest US state lottery jackpots. The Lotto Texas jackpot is at $65 million and the New York Lotto jackpot is at $58 million. When these jackpots are won and if the Mega Millions jackpot has not been won, then the Mega Millions jackpot will start growing at a much higher rate.Still looking forward t

Powerball may draw new kind of Tennessee lottery player
In the three months since lottery sales began in Tennessee, Paul Cressend has yet to buy a ticket in his home state.Instead, the health insurance salesman tries his luck in Georgia, Florida and Kentucky. That's because all three participate in either Mega Millions or Powerball, multistate games that award jackpots in the hundreds of millions of dollars. Tennessee's highest prize for state-sponsored games is $1 million. If they had big enough jackpots I'd buy lottery tickets in Tennessee, Cressen
