would it irritate you if....(multiple jackpot winners on one jackpot)
It would be bittersweet. I would like enough to change my life forever and $500K, while a good amount to work with, will not enable me to do what I want to- retire to a beach house...

would it irritate you if....(multiple jackpot winners on one jackpot)
It's hard to answer this question. I bought my 4 regular Lotto tickets and 1 Fantasy 5 ticket (a QP) tonight with a $5 win. It's 4AM and I just checked my numbers for Wed and would have been pleased to see another 3 out of 6 so I won't have to spend money again on Saturday. On the other hand, winning an amount like $100,000 would really be fantastic, and a million would change my life. So would I be upset if I had to split a jackpot with a lot of people? Both yes no. I'd be grateful and e

where in the world would you live if you hit a jackpot?
Warm is nice but were you decide can be expensive -- islands --Brazil , Mexico no english --Canada ??? Go with the geese south then north --- money --heck enjoy life ....but you still need a place called home , and just to up and leave all your family and friends, that's not right . So where you live now, when you hit: is home . After that you travel to the wishful places until it's due time to retire ! Remember it always seem greener over the other side of the fence: but there is now place l

are you happy with YOUR state lottery?
I'm cool with New Jersey's Pick 6 but I think they should at least start the jackpot at 3.5 million instead of the paltry 2 million. If they did that I think more people would play it. With the Mega Millions always at least 12 million, why would you play the Pick 6? I only play it when it is over 5 million. I know the odds are better but if I won a pick 6 jackpot, i'd still have to work. I want to win something I can retire off of.

The vastness of the odds for a jackpot win...
I agree. That's an interesting way of looking at it, Sirbrad. If someone earns a good living, however, I believe there can be a balance. Spend some - save some. Most working people today will not have over a million in the bank when they retire, although it's quite possible, depending on one's income, lifestyle and family situation. Anything can happen that will necessitate using those savings (losing a job, illness, college tuition, wedding, divorce, new baby) One thing that affects us a

Georgia truck driver gets a piece of lottery history
Some people may not have the option to stay at their job. I know a teacher would be forced to retire because the school system would not take to risk of letting you stay in the classroom. A student's parents may claim you mistreated their child and hire a lawyer to help part you from your money. It would be an unwelcome distraction. The school system couldn't afford to keep you. If You Won A Lottery Of $3 Million
Retire with it, and live the same way I am now, no changes. New cars - yes, but I'd stay where I am, in the same house I am in, and remember folks and charities in my will. If a person expects to live 30 more years, then $75,000/year or so should suffice, at least here anyway. 'Cept I won't live to see 78.

Do you wait for the PowerBall to get to a certain amount?
Geez, how much will it take for you to retire on ? 7-8 mill isn't enough ?? But also, if it's been so long since your state won one, don't you think you are coming due ? I remember a time when I didn't want to play because PA had like 4 winners in one year. This stuff all goes in cycles, what goes around, comes around.

Do you wait for the PowerBall to get to a certain amount?
Why wait ? I can retire on 15 mill just as easily as I can 250 mill, and besides, the lesser the amount, the less number of people playing, the better my chances (not to be confused with 'odds').
