Ohio Senate bill includes privatizing lottery
Critics say gaming corp. drafted language
The Ohio Senate's latest version of the state budget bill includes language to privatize the Ohio Lottery that is nearly identical to legislation drafted by a gaming company hoping to manage the $2.5 billion agency's day-to-day operations.
The language, drafted by GTECH, an industry giant that once ran the Ohio Lottery's back-office operations, was added to the massive budget bill virtually unchanged and without any public hearing. The inclusion of

Detroit lottery millionaire charged with murder
A man who was part of a U.S. Postal Service employees group who won a share of the $93 million Mega Millions Jackpot in February is now accused of killing a Detroit landlord from Australia.
In a bizarre twist to the tragic death of Greg McNicol in Detroit, police said suspect Freddie Young won a $1.8 million slice of $93 million Mega Millions lottery.
Young allegedly shot McNicol during an argument over just a few hundred dollars in overdue rent money Young's daughter owed.

Determinism vs Randomness and Chance
RL-RANDOMLOGIC,
(From your more recent posts:)
I use to spend far more but never gained from doing so.
So your system is not scalable. Too bad.
Playing digits works for me and just because you don't have any success using them means nothing.
I play QuickPicks.

N.J. looks to be first in nation with online lottery sales
Retailers worried about loss of revenue, store traffic
For Tushar Patel, every $1 lottery ticket he sells at his Pantry 1 Food Market in Hammonton yields more than the 5-cent commission he gets from New Jersey.
Patel said he makes more from the other purchases of customers who visit the store for lottery tickets.
Eighty (percent) to 90 percent of the people who play the lottery here buy coffee and other things, Patel said.
The state lottery posted record sales exceeding $2.6 billion

Once a victim, retiree allegedly joined scammers to bilk others
Authorities allege that Thomas Murphy, 68, became a mule for an overseas ring that took in $800,000
They preyed on the elderly often by trolling obituaries for new widows or widowers and enticed them into believing they'd won a lottery but needed to pay the tax on their winnings to claim them.
Thomas Murphy, 68, a retired principal, teacher and coach from Henderson, Minn., started as a victim. Then, police say, he joined the scam in a failed attempt to try to recoup his losses.

Fooled by Randomness
RL said: Wrong again jimmy boy.
Jimmy4164 says: I don't think so.
Reading your reply for the second time, I've come to the conclusion that you either believe what you're saying or have a vested interest (a hope of future software sales) in others believing it. If it's the former, you are fooling yourself. If it's the latter, I don't know how you sleep at night. I hope it's the former, because there is then a possibility that you will eventually understand the error in your thinking.

Do you believe in "lucky" stores?
in order.
(1) plenty of examples of God intervening on behalf of His creation, and i will bet that you can find people with examples at LP. just because God doesn't intervene on your nasty behavior, allowing you to breathe because He granted you free will, and for now, is honoring that despite you mocking Him - don't take taht as if He doesn't. HE STILL does.
(2) a claim isn't valid, until they pass the validation process. the validation process (cleaning house) will come soon enough. chao
