Streak of jackpot winners is bad luck for Powerball lottery sales

System Sellers Exposed......Please Read
Todd, I am assuming you are talkikng about the lottery. I actually do not play anymore. The odds are horrible now on Canada's Revised 6/49. Sure the prizes are bigger, but it costs TWICE as much now for a ticket! So unless the jackpots get really big, then the odds are even worse than when tickets used to be one dollar. The Pick-3 interests me. It might be possible to use a neural network, or data mining to gain an edge if you fed it enough information and the drawing was unbiased. I saw

Lottery software development ideas
I doubt that such a program or system really exists because there are big time gamblers that would happily spent thousands of dollars if they were sure the payoffs were worth the gamble.Hiya: I'd have to agree with you on that. I've known a good many wealthy men who had a preoccupation with becoming wealthier, who were serious risk-takers when they believed the risk was worth it. Who were all-or-nothing gamblers to the point they'd been wealthy and near-homeless more than once. I'm of the op

ball drawings vs. computer drawings
On the lottoreport website there was a link to a NPR broadcast in which a member of the Texas lottery commission admitted a computer RNG programmed to pick 4 more often than 3 or 2 was used to pick their MM multiplier to encourage players to use the MM multiplier option which generated more money for the State of Texas. A local professor argued that since the #2 had not been picked in over 3 month, the program was not a RNG but a program designed to pick numbers to increase lottery sales. One

Quantum Physics
We need some quantum physics implemented in the predictions software. In addition we probably need PC hardware(working together with the prediction software) which is able to peek into the future. The only problem I can see with that is that the balls in lottery drawings appear to perform somewhat to electrons described in a theorem known as Bell's Inequality. Einstein's fixed universe, full of rules and patterns everything has to obey at every level from sub-atomic upward, was conclusively di

Worldwide Game Idea
Well, I have a game in mind, but first comes the system that will make the game work. It's kind of complex, so listen carefully.First, all of the prize money raised for the weekly drawing will be put into a bank account that will automatically convert foreign currencies into one primary currency (USD or EUR). The prize money won in a certain jurisdiction will determine how much of the account will be paid to that jurisdiction. Say Mexico's Loteria Nacional had USD$1,200,000 worth of prizes to pa

Someone hit mega - needs a fix
Quote: Originally posted by dvdiva on March 3, 2005Not true. Powerball has broken 300 million twice. The big game once but never played that. I don't complain about jackpots if it matches the prize. For a game where the odds are 135 million to one not even to hit it's odds as an annuity is a sign of a broken game. Something that th
