Alpha-numberic substitution
Texas nw in MegaMillions. I use alpha-numeric substitution to generate numbers for the 5/52. Anyone want to collaborate with me in creating various hot sheets, inventories, x-y charts? It works for Pick 5 and also for Pick 6, when Texas had such a lottery. No jackpots yet, but substitution is good guide in picking future numbers based on prior drawing results. Basically, subtitution used defaults A=1 to 9, B=10-19, C=20-29, D=30-39, E=40-49 and F=50-52 to analyze past results on a position-posi

Mega Millions was hit tonight!
All of the big jackpots create a spillover effect but they only show up after a couple of draws. Allow me to explain.Normally the jackpot starts at $10 million. This is always a subsidized amount. Ticket sales only support a jackpot of around $3 to $4 million. After a big jackpot, sales support a jackpot of around $6 to $7 million but the jackpot is still offered at a subsidized value of $10 million.Where the spillover effect comes in play is where the jackpot is no longer subsidized. This has o

Are Lotteries Rigged
Jim695 I'm no genius, but I know that if something is computerized, it uses a PROM chip or an EPROM chip, which means that it can be programmed. Consider this: If the Hoosier Lottery has their little computerized electronic random number generator tied into their central computer, which tracks players' selections and wager amounts, they can easily minimize payouts on their daily games and, at the same time, build their Lotto jackpot at will (bigger jackpots = more ticket sales), and who w

Pa. Lottery To Scrap Super 6 Lotto
This story was first reported in the harrisburg Patriot - News last Friday. Most of the details were given; yes it will be sort of like Super 6; players can pick 6 numbers, (out of 49); the other two plays are freebees. My only question after reading the article and trying to figure the odds is that apparently 10 numbers are drawn. According to the story, (I didn't do all the math) the chances of getting $2 (minimum) prize is 1 in 9. this is about the same as the Cash 5 game. I'm wondring
