Iowa Lottery chief addresses online ticket sales
I like the idea of paying cash for my lottery tickets. It's actually a work out for me. I enjoy taking the time walking to the store, maybe even chatting with another customer while waiting in line. All these little motions I find it rewarding in it's own. People you really need to work those bums instead of sticking them on your bottom in front of those monitors otherwise winning will only clogged up your heart! LOL ... plus, this way I won't over spend if I use spare cash instead of a credit c

For D.C. Lottery scratch-off game players, fewer chances to win big
I don't know why not Are you serious???? Are you aware some countries have restrictions on the internet? Per Wikipedia Saudi Arabia directs all international Internet traffic through a proxy farm located in King Abdulaziz City for Science Technology. A content filter is implemented there, based on software by Secure Computing.[2] Since October 2006, the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) has been handling the DNS structure and filtering in Saudi Arabia in the pla

For those interested in Recurrence Analysis
Fortunately i found something a little more powerfull than recurrence analysis, recurrence analysis should never be descarted like how i said, but if they could only use the technology that they are employing in recurrence analysis and use it in this system/theory....It will be even bettter.... https://www.lotterypost.com/blogcomments.asp?i=23082 and this will be more powerfull than recurrence analysis...But again if they could only use the technology/effort they are using in recurrence an

Lottery Scanner: New Technology..
I feel that they need to come up with a new lottery scanners, in stores...Because filling out the lottery bet slip is time consuming. I've heard that you must use a special brand of pencil or the machine will not pick it up...They should come up with a Gun scanner where people can draw the numbers 1-2-5 for example, and the scanner will scan it the same way gun scanners scan food products...I call it a gun scanner but is the one with the horizontal red lazer/line that you scan from top to bott

400,000 Posts - 25,000 Members
Wow, that is a lot, I didn't realize we had hit those milestones! Someday I'm going to put together some kind of chart showing growth over time. I will be very interesting to see graphically how the growth of Lottery Post feed on itself, as word spreads of everything that is available to lottery players. There is another very unique thing about the 400,000-post milestone, and that is just the fact that all 400,000 posts -- the entire history of topic threads -- is available online, with no arch

Sign the petition - eliminate computerized drawings!
Well, to address your viewership question, studies have shown that people want the drawings shown on live TV, even if they don't watch them. They want to know they're there, because then they know it's true and fair. That should totally clarify that point. With computerized drawings, not only do you get no live drawing, but even worse, you get a cartoon which mimics a drawing. Why, MathWizard, do you think they mimic a ball machine in the cartoons? Why not just show scrambled numbers coming t

Landmark bill would ban computerized lottery drawings in Delaware
bigbets:A tub of swiss cheese has far fewer holes than your arguments.I love how you say that a RNG is fair because they have been used for years and years for keno and slot machines. I guess you've got me cornered on that one! Keno games and slot machines are well-known for their fairness and accuracy, huh? (On the contrary, casinos love 'em because they can control exactly what machines payout the most. Is that what you're after?)I think the fact that the lottery can easily catch people

New Delaware Lotto Game to be Launched Amid Concerns Over Drawings
From the article:Mr. Lemons declined to comment directly on the bill, but said taking away the office's ability to utilize technology would be like telling a bank they couldn't use ATM machines anymore. Apples and oranges. The last time I used my bank's ATM, I didn't have to pick six numbers from a field before receiving my money. I was required to enter my PIN, though, and coincidentally, it was an exact match. I guess I'm just lucky that way.New technologies fail every day. Some are just not

Tennessee Governor proposes lottery scholarships for adults
Students who don't take the traditional route to college also should be eligible for help from the lottery-funded scholarship program, Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen said.Bredesen said it is common for a student to take a year or two off from college before returning and finishing. He also said people returning to school later in life should have a chance at the scholarships. My fundamental belief of this country is that it is a 'second chance' country and you hate to lose somebody because they ca
