Powerball: $221.5 Million
Actually PB never promised super jackpots. It was MM in their ads that promised jackpots of $350+ Mil and they haven't even been able to crack $200 Mil. PB cracked $200+ Mil twice in 2003.I don't know about you but I'd call $200+ Mil pretty super.

Worst US lottery game?
I think that my states game megabucks from Oregon happens to be the worse game. It jackpots rollover at an average of $200,000 a drawing and it can take numerous drawings to get to a nice size jacpot. The last jackpot that was won in our state took 6 to 7 months to get to its size of 21.7 million. It frustrating that we don't have bigger jackpots faster but I guess that's why Oregon has powerball!

Tennessee
I think they will choose ND. Frist of all, Paul who is handling the Tennessee lottery came from Georgia where they have MM. For some reason I think that the inclusion of Texas in MM will bring bigger jackpots. Specially when the Jackpot his the $100 million barrier, more Texans will start playing. That will bring bigger jackpots and hence the popularity of MM will grow. This is just what I think. So I voted that they will choose MM.

Canadian Lotto 649 Changes
The Canadian Lotto 649 will change next year starting with the June 2 draw. The cost of each ticket will go from $1 to $2. There will be a $5 prize for matching 2 numbers and the bonus number. The jackpot will start at $4 million. The main reason for the change is to boost the size of the jackpots. The jackpots are expected to reach as high as $25 million.I will post more information when it becomes available.Jake

should megamillions change the rules
The only reason to change the matrix is if the play handle at the lower jackpots covers more than 60% of the spread. Currently that is not the case, and will not be the case even when Texas begins selling near the end of October. However, it will be the case once another state (hellooooooooooo TN). When that happens, look for an increase in the pick-5 section, not the mega ball. Also, don't be fooled, dvdiva, the reason that PB jackpots seem to rise faster is that they pay out on a 30 year annu

1 winner in mega for 150 in georgia
wonder if they have to change the rules to make the jackpots bigger - seems like mega has 1/2 the jackpots that powerball gets.looks like i was wrong about it going on up though - i saved my money so i can waste it on the wa. state lottery instead - im playing all my tickets with a plus number of 16 again. only 2 more drawings before it switches back to a 6/49 game
