Someone's loss is my win- An Instant Scratch-off story
Bingos are the easiest to miss. And pretty much any crossword-type Scratcher is difficult to verify with just your eyes alone. The more expensive the ticket the easier it is to overlook something.
I have had issues with ticket-checkers though, to be fair. There have been instances where, even if the machine beeps and the screen refreshes, it will continue displaying Non-winner -- despite it being a cash prize or free ticket (Although I've never used mobile checkers). I have found a free

I am in Orlando too and I totally agree with you about the duds. It's ridiculous no matter which game you play either. I've been sticking mostly to Publix either via machine or the counter and when I do when it's either ticket face value or $5 or $10 more than ticket face. But you check the lottery page and people are winning in Orlando, in Ocoee, Apopka, Kissimmee lol.
I started playing Fantasy 5 daily as well but only $1. What I do is pick all my numbers for the month at the 1st of each mon

I've had this happen before too, Skeptic.
My guess is someone who works there likes certain ticket numbers, and removed/bought(hopefully paid for) those tickets before placing them in the machine. I've went to a Kangaroo gas station, and had this happen before two times at different locations.
I know of someone who manages to get ticket 000, and ticket 029 from the spots he goes to. The retailer happily pulls off the beginning and end of books for him. Some retailers might be wil

I have a question about he odds (math)
For starters there are 119,877,472 possible outcomes in a 6/69 lotto game. You get the number of permutations by factoring 69 six times (86,311,779,840) and then divide that by factoring 6 (720).
if I pick 1 2 3 4 5 6 and the machine draws 2 4 1 5 6 3 that means it is a winning ticket.
Lotto numbers are combinations and the numbers are always shown on a ticket as in a low to high order so regardless of which number was drawn first, second, etc.

A call to boycott Mega Millions loto game.
I based my opinions on the fact that a few states are using computerized system to draw out the winning numbers after all the tickets are counted. the way that the tickets are counted is based on the sale of numbers that's done when the ticket slips goes through the lotto machine at the local shops. The same machines that prints out the tickets are(IMO) counts the numbers and sends that information to Lotto HQ. How else would they know who bought the winning tickets?
Casinos cheats. The Lott

Georgia court awards Alabama man $1 million lottery win
That's why no one was arrested. The whole thing just sounded dumb and careless. Why buy a lottery ticket for an upcoming drawing if you're going to forget about it?
the jury should have awarded all 3 of them (or however many people touched or took a picture of the ticket) equal share of the money regardless of who bought it.
its like the lady who pulled the lever for the $30 slot machine for a man who asked her to. It won 100,000 and she took it all the money. However, she should have only

Man sues California Lottery for not honoring winning $5M Scratcher ticket
So...when using an automated machine ( which my state has- along with play at the pump),Who do they (alledgedly )interview? To validate the person is over 18? Sorry pal, there is no assigned lottery rep driving to kingdom come to interview the clerk about a winning ticket. Most employees don't stick around long enough , higher turn over. So then what? Does lottery run stings.. Sure. This doesn't fall under that circumstance.
This is not a complicated payout. The ticket is legitimate, the file

Woman sues casino that offered her steak dinner instead of $43 million jackpot
It would be nice for her if she received a settlement of $10K. If that is the disclaimer on the machine she was playing. But I doubt it. Just like when you buy an instant ticket for winning so much for LIFE. If you are lucky enough to get that and then decide you want the cash option. Look at the disclaimer on the back of the ticket in very small print. You would only get half of the total guaranteed prize if you choose to play that game and take the one lump sum. They have most fooled by their

I guess I can't complain about the new $25 ticket. After the first loser a couple weeks ago, last week I won $40 getting a $20 double coin stack at the Texaco on the corner of Williston and SW 13th in Gainesville.
This week I stopped at Love's at the I-75/SR326 interchange north of Ocala and bought one out of the vending machine. It was roll 24K something which might still be a decent range depending on what the other jackpot roll was. Anyways, I hit 4 single coins and a number. Of course I w

@ Kfla - The 250k range is possible on 2MJ. The game's print goes up to 277k. 2MJ is so scarce to the point where I'd buy anything 240k+, especially seeing cases where jackpots have popped up earlier than he very end of the print (but perhaps the book has been sitting).
I thought what was interesting about that machine's display is the fact that they have the $20 Lucky 200k/yr for Life, and $3 Bejeweled Diamond payout games loaded in them. The LFL is the oldest $20 game FL Lottery offers
