When a lottery sets a minimum jackpot level, they are able to do it with the use of a reserve fund. A small percentage of every ticket does into the reserve fund. In the Canadian national lotteries (Super 7 and Lotto 649) the reserve fund comes from 3% of every ticket sale. I suspect it is smaller for Mega Millions and Powerball because the jackpot is rarely won when it is at its minimum level.Since Mega Millions came from the Big Game, they probably simply transferred over the existing Big Game

The problem is it's very hard to tell what you're buying by his descriptions. There can be something wrong which you can't know because he doesn't tell you what the draw backs are. For example, the last system needs a lot of brain power effort watching trends and making your own predictions which way things are going and betting they will continue. The most recent system is another example, he refers to first prize jackpots, a sneaky way to get around the fact his system wins the 5 number prize n

Yes, on May 5, 2000, the jackpot rolled from 230 million to 363 million for the May 9 draw. The cash value of the jackpot is directly related to the amount of sales and the number of lower tier prizes won. The advertised jackpot (that is, the jackpot payed out over 26 years) is direectly related to the cash value and the current interest rates. Two years ago, interest rates were higher and therefore the advertised (annuity) jackpots were larger in relation to the cash value than they are today. Two

Message from the Predictor Genie
Thank you for the warm welcome. Yes, I have noticed that many of the others throw out numerous numbers?? I don't get that theory. Anyhow, about the software, yes I have used principals and element that go back into the days when the mob ran the numbers. I was raised in the East Coast and was weaned on the Pick 3. The PP3 is very special, granted I get a lot of discouragement from those would feel that it's basically pure luck and that a software could never work. I have to differ with those math

El Gordo
I am writing to inform you that the December 22nd El Gordo tickets are now on sale for our site. 'In It 2 Win It' has cut the costs of El Gordo tickets dramatically this year. Last year we were US$5 cheaper than other sites on a single ticket. This year we are US$25 cheaper. Other sites so not send your tickets and if they do you most likely never see them until after the draw. If you buy your tickets from init2winit.com, you receive all your tickets before the draw.IMPORTANT: However, to make s

more info on Lotto South
IMHO there are a few problems with the Lotto South:1. The name: why call it Lotto South? What if a Northern or Western state wants to join? Will people in those states want to play Lotto SOUTH?2. 6/49: if LS expands to too many states, with the increased player base, people will win the jackpot before it gets a chance to grow very large. They'll have to change the number pool or add a money ball or something. I thought the point of the thing was to replace the states' lotto games, not be another

Ohio Lottery Players
Patrick,I agree on all counts. There are some state lotteries that are just plain obvious about their desire for larger profits and hurt the lump-sum option. For those who weren't aware of it, the way it's supposed to work is if you choose the lump-sum cash option, you should get the exact same amount of money that the lottery would normally invest in order to pay off the annuity payments. This usually comes to about half of the total annuity payout. But some states will actually give you less t

Colorado lottery winner's first order of business after winning $5M: buy watermelon and flowers
Lucky winner has priorities in check
By Kate Northrop
A Colorado man's priorities after winning a $5 million Colorado Lottery's Colorado Lotto+ jackpot were clear buy a watermelon for himself and some flowers for his wife.
Some lottery players might scratch their heads wondering why one Colorado man made a point to say that a watermelon was the first thing he sought to buy after winning $5 million in the lottery, but the reason is a rather sweet one.

Tinkermen Lotto Report - General Explanation of Mathematical Discovery needed
My inner voice said I should mark this post as read and move on.
But, I see an opportunity to make some points.
It never ceases to amaze me how many data bases mathematicians can see in any game history file of any length.
Here is another example of wasted time and energy.
As has been pointed out, the system fails to answer the most important question in lottery play - What's Next?
It also fails to reveal the mathematical solution that has been hiding for 200 plus years.
