Keno System that really works
There is truth to some things alNafa is saying. I just oppose to alNafa selling it, considering the amount of money that was made to support living without working anymore. Here's the truth part. A few years ago I bought a horse racing guide that claimed no big wins, but had a 2 to 5 year retirement plan. With an 80% hit rate, one could exponentially increase their, little tiny wins, of 10%, and within 2 to 5 years, they would retire. He made it clear, that patience was the key. I personally don'

Powerball sales skid hurts lottery profits
Once again the PB powers that be are sticking it to us by increasing the already near impossible odds all under the guise of increasing jackpots because some people are not happy with winning thirty to seventy million dollars. Come on people-- give me a break! $30,000,000 isn't enough when you make $35,000 - $90,000 a year????I think I'm gonna retire from Powerball and play games with much better odds. You can have the PB and the MM game. I'm not gonna participate in somebody's delusion th

How much to retire?
I just spent 23 months at home and it taught me I dont want to ever retire.I've had to deal with the phone ringing all day long with no one I know or anyone important trying to sell most anything under the sun, people with a novel in their right hand and a cell phone in their left all while doing 80 down the interstate and I,m sure cruise control has no part of managing the car in that manner. Idiots in the grocery store putting their groceries on the conveyor belt and then running to get those

How much to retire?
I don't see any way I could retire on less than $50 mil..... need a new Trannie on an '87 Mitzu Montero, need new tires and a lot of nagging grimlens taken out of the old '87 Trooper, need a new clutch on the '90 model Toyota 4Runner.I haven't added all that up, but I know it's high. Then there's some plumbing work needing done.... might want to add a shed with a washer and drying in it.... start hiring people to change my oil and plugs....There's food, maybe a few shirts and some new Levis.....

Democrats trying to ruin Calif. Mega Millions lottery participation
In 1980 the top income tax bracket was ....70%, today it is 35% which is still to high. You also have to add in 7.6% FICA so your at 42% and if your in a state that hasa state income tax you could be close or over 50%...Isn't that enough!I know taxes are needed to keep society civilized but like I said before The Higher they raise taxes now the lower your lifestyle will be when youretire ....if you can retire. If you win $100 million cash in Mega Millions you will pay 25% Federal right awayso you

$215 million for Saturday!
Okay guys, I have a question. I'm serious. This is a question that may get me stoned. But here it is....Why is it that everybody in general seems to get all excited when the jackpot is 100 million or more, but they sniff and turn up their noses at less, and say the jackpot is too small ?Personally, I just play my 3 bucks each draw, and I don't even generally think about what the jackpot is...I mean, it is my understanding that the minimum jackpot for PB is 10 million bucks. So, even if half o

Loyal Staff Stays on the Job after Lottery Jackpot Win
Quote: Originally posted by mrmst on January 26, 2005fwlawrence: The key is IF you generate enough income - at 5% per annum (to keep the principal safe) you would only generate $50,000 per year - not enough to be confortable without working. Don't forget, if you don't work, you will have to pay your own medical benefits - that can get very expensive.Don't they have socialized healthcare in the UK? Also, are lottery winnnings in the UK taxed? All that could make a difference as to wether or not

Woo Hoo!!
GoArmy....Horse Racing used to be my hobby before I got into the lottery. Spent about twenty years chasing the ponies. Couldn't beat that one either! Burned out on it so now I don't even like going to the track any more. But you're idea is a good one.For a while I was applying my pick 3 methods to playing the trifecta...as a random numbers game rather than trying to pick the best horses. Had a couple $2000 + winners doing it that way but it was too time-consuming to do both. When I retire
