Jimbo For the record the amount was $36,764.70. 28% feds and 4% state. This winning is not included in my figures because you posted that unless a person wins a jackpot then they will never win in the long run. Back in the days of the 5-30 it was nothing to win a 4 of 5 a couple times a month and if I remember correctly it payed $100.00. A 3 of 5 payed $10.00 and a 2 of 5 paid nothing. Could someone that programs excell create a search file in their sum last digit tracking to look for any mixture of sum last digit groups? I have a search feature in my software but it has it's limitations on what it can do. I can not search a mixture of sum last digits unless they fall in my search feature categories. Jimmy Your observation of the difference in the frequency of sets with more or less odd or even numbers is analogous to observing that the sum of the 5 numbers in a majority of sets falls into a minority of the total range of possible sums. The same is true for observing the number of unique digits in a set, or the average spread between the numbers.
