Giving Tips.
Most everyone who come to LP are looking for a tip that might give them an edge. Some even claim to be winning more because of what they've learned but I wouldn't call that cheating. If a clerk can tell when a roll of scarch-offs might be due to payout a big prize then the lottery isn't doing a good job of printing the winning tickets in a random fashion. I doubt is a clerk would have that kind of information and still be working as a clerk instead of the owner.

Here is the thing about what you are saying. When you go into a store that sells lottery just like in the game of baseball the pitcher is trying to get you out. But if you are coaching the players into playing one ticket over another you are throwing the game. IE Kenny Rogers and his Dirt which we all know was pine tar on his hand. At the point of sell like it or not you are giving your tippers an unfair advantage over the rest of the lottery players and why? Well because it benefits you.

Man who stole winning lottery ticket gets 5 years
Maybe if Grair had been honest, Sehested might have tipped him a couple of bucks. A couple of bucks or nothing isn't much but it's better than five years in prisons. I wonder how many store clerks don't get caught cheating their customers? He gambled 5yrs as a store clerk against $524,000 minus taxes and lost, maybe it seem like a good gamble until he got caught.

A clerk cannot guarantee a winner in a book.. That is ridiculous........ It is not cheating, to expect a hit.. No more than it is cheating telling someone you feel that trip 4's are coming ... How can it be a tampered with game for others.. Oh come on.. You have say 40 rolls hanging there.. Each having winners every 4 - 5 tickets.. Some big .. some free tickets.. Who really knows.. Each book has anywhere from 30 to 300 tickets on it.. How could someone guarantee a winner on a book..

MegaMillions and Quick Pick
I think QP's win more because more people play QP's. Unlike many LP members, most players don't want to be bother with picking their own numbers and making out play slips. Lotteries are designed with odds that favor the states taking your money without cheating and most players are trying to the same but the odds are against them. Up until Shane3 started this thread I had thought he would trying to develop a strategy to improve his odds of winning but now I not so sure.

E! Television to air 'Curse of the Lottery' Sunday
Guesser - You know what? I kind of do that right now. If there is something I want, I really try to think about buying it. I rent a small 1BR apartment so there is not much room for anything, so I'm careful about buying stuff such as furniture, wide screens etc. I work for an electronics company and we get discounts on big TV's but where is it going to go? I ask myself. I want to win a jackpot just so that I can prove that you can be happy with all that money! I'm glad this thread started becaus

Store Managers playing sscratch offs
So many people have claimed that a store knows which scratch-off tickets are winners and which are not, but the clerks I ask say that's not true. I have absolutely no idea. However, if you believe this woman is committing an act of fraud or theft, then by all means report her. You can probably do this anonymously, although you will need some kind of proof, which is important any time you file an accusation. If you feel strongly that she is cheating, there might be an investigation into the matte

illegal to rig the lottery you should save all your tickets, if ever found out the lottery corp was cheating you could sue for all your money back. That will never happen as it is not rigged.
