Hi All--Newcomer to LP--Would like to introduce myself
Welcome to LP! I run a pool in my office too. We currently have 11 people and I've been running it for around 10 years or so. Like you, we've never won a big prize, but we have won a lot of smaller prizes. We play Powerball, MegaMillions, and Louisiana Lotto in our pool. We use a combination of quickpicks and numbers picked by the members. We haven't won the big one yet, but we keep trying.

if invited to join a lottery pool at work: would you or not?
NO. If you invited me to be in your pool I would not. You dont care about random or artistic guesses.
I think you are only someone who is afraid to not get any money if the pool at your job actually wins.
Your gambling is fear based and not science based. So if you want another dollar, I will leave 20 beer cans outside my door for you.
If you dont care about joining a pool, why ask about joining a pool?
Are you trying to expose lottery players as fools?

if invited to join a lottery pool at work: would you or not?
We only used to have an office lottery pool when the jackpot got large. My only motivation was I didn't want to be the odd man out, so yeah, I'd put my $5 in the pool.

if invited to join a lottery pool at work: would you or not?
I say join the pool. You have to increase your chances of winning even if it is with more people. The pot cashout now is $184,000,000 million, say there is 10 people in the pool = mmmmm 16 million, to buy more tickets on your own. ($184 mil x 8.75% = 16,100,000 mil., - 184 mil = 167,900,000 / 10 = $16,790,000 each), not bad for a days work.

If you were part of a lottery Pool that won..
If you had been in any pool I was ever in and you decided to set out and not contribute to the cost of the tickets and they won, you were out of the winnings too. I would never join a pool that didn't have that understanding with all its participants.

Does anybody have a pick 3 system that works in Arizona ?
Randomize the Pool(0-9) by generating sets of integers(3 for p3), use recent draws as key to deduce picks from generated sets or you can use recent draw/s as default to randomize the Pool.Hope this helps.

Pool / Syndicate or Solo player?
Hello everyone.
Not made a thread in a while so thought I would make one haha.
So, when you play are you part of a pool or do you play on your own dime.
Me personally, I now only buy 1 or 2 lines if I decide to play the Euro or sometimes I pool money with close family members but that's mostly it.
So how about you guys?

I'm changing my playing style for a month
I was in a 30 player pool where almost the same thing happened. Decided not to ask about the taxes when I was handed $50 which convinced me playing in that large of a pool was dumb idea.

How Far Will The Mega Millions Go Before Odds Make It Impossible For Anyone?
Megaball currently comes from pool of 1 in 46; the new version comes from a pool of 1 in 15. So basically they worsened odds of top prize by adding 19 balls (56 to 75) to main pot and improved odds of lower prizes by subtracting 31 balls (46 to 15) from the bonus pot.

SoundOff New Jersey Lottery is cheating in the Pick 3 and Pick 4 Games
Texas has drawn out of order before too. It has nothing to do with what they are doing, but rather because it is driven by air mix/vacuum. But for Pick 3/4 it does not affect winning combinations because each position has its own pool. One pool cannot the affect the other even if it wanted to. So basically, the order the numbers are selected do not matter unless of course you are superstitious/observe voodoo.
