The Billion-Dollar Winning Numbers From The Future (PB Fortune Cookie)
No.
Even if the numbers that win are in a fortune cookie the chances that you'll get a fortune cookie with those numbers is still very slim. On the off chance that you do get the cookie with the winning numbers history tells us we can expect perhaps 100 other people to have gotten and played the same numbers, so even a $1 billion jackpot would put just $5.5 million in your pocket. That's a lot better than nothing, but nothing (or maybe $4 or $7 is almost certainly what you'll actually end up

Thank you Casper... Wanna see my new tires???
Cant cash my ticket tomorrow at the regional lottery office near me because it's closed for The MLK Holiday. Gotta wait until Tuesday to get my grubby paws on the cash.
In April, yours truly gonna be in Florida all month playin' Florida Fantasy 5. You'd like that game Casper. It's a 5/36 game with 376,992 to 1 odds to win a jackpot. But better than that, the jackpot is usually more than $200,000 every night. Kinda makes Take5's jackpots look

Something interesting is going on with Take5.... but it's not what you think.
There has been at least one jackpot winner every day this year with the exception of January 9th when there was no winner. Average jackpot won is $43,702. Eleven jackpots have been split by 15 winners. (On January 6th, one player won twice by buying the same line twice at one retailer in Brklyn)
The biggest jackpot was $69,528 on January 3rd split by three winners - each got $23,176.
I would have thought ther

How high will PB go?
KYFloyd hit the nail on the head.
Picking numbers after the draw? They can tell who uses analysis to pick numbers vs schmucks who use QP's?
How about this number....1 in 292,201,338.....
That might be the best reason jackpots roll into multi-millions, or even a billion.
Good LUCK Saturday night.

I agree 100% with your statement -
I have this theory about wining a jackpot- actually it's my scientific wild guess - It's that if I play three numbers that like to come out together, and they actually do come out, and I get real lucky with the two other numbers, then I'll claim at least a part of a jackpot. My theory probably stinks, but who knows? G5
if you are able to do this (play 3 numbers the you know will hit together) and they come out you have reduced your odds to 1 in 10 !!!!!

You might hear someone say More Take5 jackpots are won with QP's than with player picked numbers , and they'd be correct.
There's a reason why that's true, and it because 75% of all tickets sold statewide are QP's. That simply means there is a greater opportunity for a set of five numbers to be drawn that are included in that pool of 75% as opposed to them coming from the 25% pool of player picked numbers.
The problem with QP's is you have no control over the numbers you'll be playing if

A couple of interesting things happened last nite. One was in T5, the other happened in PowerBall.
On the T5 front, #19 popped for the 41st time this year and still leads the pack. It's right where it should be in terms of being the 2019 hits leader. It might pop one more time before August 31st.
PowerBall saw a PowerPlay (multiplier) number of 10 be drawn. That doesn't happen very often. That's due to two reasons; First there is only one ball in the drum used to draw the PowerPlay multip

Wisconsin Republicans to hold hearing on lottery privacy bill
Who are the they that keeping saying it's about transparency and public trust?
And they could say that about any public local, state or Federal agency. Most people that care want transparency in government agencies.
FYI, there is no United States lottery, but are currently 44 individual state lotteries with two more (Alabama and Mississippi) starting in the near future. Each state legislation creates rules that govern their state lottery and have no effect on any other state lottery. Sever

Wisconsin Republicans to hold hearing on lottery privacy bill
It goes back to when lotteries were created by individual states and it's never been one size fits all . In some states full disclosure was part of negotiations for having a lottery in the first place and some states have full public information acts. It's not really a problem for states that never had or had very few large jackpot winners.
We do not know how many players do not play because of threats.
I've played lottery games for years and not once did I get threatened or even harass
