I remember one You can't win if you don't play! I forget which State it was. The only thing is some of the Lottery radio ads are particularly annoying. Well, I thought maybe the reason we were seeing so many multiple prize winners is because they were increasing their play after they won the first largish amount. But according to the poll, the denizens of this board haven't/wouldn't increase their play. So what gives? Are the peeps who win multiple times just lucky?

It's his money. He can do what he wants. Sometimes an additional income, whether it came from a lottery winning or from any other source, will just increase your income tax more than what the winning is worth. To the winner, it is more prudent to give the money away.

Ticket sales dropped in both the Cash-3 and Lotto-5 games from 2005 to 2006. The sales of those two games plus the Cash-4 game accounts for 11% of total sales so I guess their plan to increase sales was to change to an exciting computer drawing . I'd like to know the percentage of the tickets with doubles and triples that were returned for a refund.

I voted neither--- the frenzy is on now people who have never bought a ticket before will be buying tickets from now till the pot is won. people who usually wait till the pot reaches 200 million or better jump in the game. At each rollover from this point forward till the pot is won tickets sale will increase expediently. As more tickets are sold the likely hood it will be won draws nearer.
