As technology and software progress....
Yes, there are patterns. It is possible to increase your chance of winning something, if not the jackpot. However, the subject of this thread is will someone develop a system that will make lotteries obsolete? Can it be done every time, or often... I don't think so.

scratch off strategy FL
I asked a cashier what are the best ticket numbers to increase your chances of winning ,particularily on $5,$10 games and she said between 12-15 and have found this to be somewhat true i won $200 bucks on ticket #13 a week ago. I also sieze the opportunity to purchase the first or last ticket on a roll and more often than not it is a decent prize $50-$100. A couple other things I have found is that if a cashier tells you a decent prize was already won off a roll earlier in the day don't be deter

Are You The Biggest Lottery Player In Your Family?
Yep !!!! My family makes jokes about me and stuff behind my back and in my face. Some will put out that whole one dollar on a quick pick for a 200 million pot, but I like to increase my odds a little. My mother in law will spend $100 on the big pots but she still doesn't beat me because I play every draw. I spend anywhere between $5-40 on a draw, every draw. Pb and MM. Which is seriously starting to add up!!! But with gas prices climbing again, I guess that will be the first thing to go. N

Anyone been casino gambling lately?
I went to the new Twin River Casino in R.I. It was Lincoln Park before. I did win just over 38,000 nickels on a game called American something, the full names eludes me but it's the one with the stars. 3 consecutive stars triggers a 10 free spin bonus round and if you keep getting stars it fills them in at the top. If you fill them all in before the 10 free spins is up you reretrigger the free spin bonus round and increase the multiplier as well.

Why Quick Picks win...Hint: It's *NOT* what you think, folks!
You're right that plenty of people avoid birthday numbers, but that doesn't mean they avoid them completely. Two of those winning numbers aren't birthday numbers, and that's enough to significantly reduce the chances of sharing the jackpot. You're right that a lot of people would look at those numbers and think they're unlikely but those are only people who think they're educated gamblers. Those who are truly educated know that combination had exactly the same chance as any other combina

You've realized you won the JP, what happens in the next hour for you?
I expect to win so I won't jump around and scream or cry. I would first thank my Lord FOR ALLOWING ME TO LIVE TO SEE THAT DAY and thank Him for the increase. Then I would open up another browser window and mapquest the directions from my house to the lottery headquarters. If I could still make it to the lottery headquarters that same day, I would jump in my car (with ticket in tow) and drive there to claim my prize. Calling lawyers and tax accountants will occur a bit later as I would not ha

Why do I play when I hate money
It's not money that causes grief, it's the dumbass Federal Reserve and its constant increasing of the money supply!! If there were such a thing as President of the world, I would run and if I were elected, I'd force all countries to use the gold standard and if they all go through periods of deflation as opposed to inflation, then tough -- that's just the cycle of correction. In fact, growth deflation (an increase in productivity with a fixed money supply), not inflation, should be the aim of

New Arizona Lottery changes implemented
I have outlined all of the changes in Lottery Post's Change Log. I think the most exciting change for Arizona players will be the new rolling jackpot for Pick 5 -- and no increase in game matrix. Sweet!
