Teen buys first lottery ticket on her 18th birthday and wins $1,000 a week for life
Read an article about this win, and investors were saying that she made the correct choice! Apparently, Canadians are living well into their 80's. Given that she is still only 18, Charlie will collect well over 3 million dollars in her lifetime. With a name like Charlie, it has to be good.

Georgia: 3/1 - 3/31/2018
Yesterday I saw an article on WSB app about our snowstorm blizzard anniversary in 1993 and then one in 1982. Anyway there was 93 mentioned and I said to myself they are going to play 390 somehow or another. Sure enough they did, but I didn t play. This is not the first time I have seen this on there. Just FYI GL

Judge rules $560M Powerball lottery winner can stay anonymous
Yes, Shaheen is a Senator, not the Governor. The article has an error. Regarding the attorney information, a partner at an attorney's office is often deemed the attorney, although they may not handle the day-to-day drudgery of the case.

Mystery NH Powerball lottery winner gets her prize, keeps her privacy — for now
Very nice, it seems like this very fortunate woman was able to keep here identity in today's latest ruling in her case. The judge ruled that only her hometown would be released (Merrimack, N.H) but hopefully she is still able to stay safe. I know she made a huge mistake but Im grateful that she was given a lucky break. Im pretty sure someone will post a article about it in the next few hrs anyways for those who want to read more into the case. Take care folks!!

Gaming the lottery was this couple's retirement plan
Found the article very interesting and entertaining. Really had to chuckle with the part of them running the lottery machines themselves. Those old dot matrix machines in Massachusetts make a racket, think of all the decibels their poor ears had to endure. IGT said it is replacing them all; correct me if I'm wrong here. I understand that is the only state that is/was still using those old clunkers.

More millennials than seniors losing money to scams
The article hints at it, but older people may be less likely to report fraud. I live in Florida and there is a large population of older people (e.g., god's waiting room). Many get taken advantage of by caregivers, relatives, financial advisers, etc and it never gets reported. Given their diminished capacity, many old people never report the fraud (or realize they were defrauded in the first place).

Georgia group fights to prevent lottery winners from claiming anonymously
That way l read this article- Henson is leading the charge for anonymity. To read some quotes, one would think he is against anonymity.

20-year-old Florida man claims $451M Mega Millions jackpot
Great article. Loved the part about wealth management vs investing. I recall more than one lottery winner who won hundreds of millions, saying they wanted to turn it into a billion (the Idaho winner I think). Just aim to maintain most of it.

What's Up With *Billionitis?
If you put more thought to Redd's article, this type of money invites a lot of headaches. There's no way a single person could really manage this type of money alone. To me the idea of winning is winning enough to buy things I normally can't afford, a vacation, a newer car, etc.. I wouldn't want all that money. A few million is just fine for me.

SC Lottery not paying winnings on game because of 'programming error'
I didn't even read the article, but I'm sure this case is same ole same ole, we had an error so you are SOL. All I know there should be a Tough Luck law in favor of the winners. They did their part buying the ticket, so now pay up! How many times has the lottery have had some type of error, didn't tell anybody, and they still kept players' money? I'm sure many times.
